The location of the hotel was excellent. Close to everything I needed to be close to including the Ferry Port. Easy to get to the hub of things. Easy to get to The Peak by taxi or by the railway. Just an excellent location. Note it is very steep around the hotel. As is lots of Hong Komg.

There was nothing much to dislike. It is not a new hotel so a few places were a little tired but nothing to complain about. It is worth noting again that it is in a steep area of town so just beware if not happy with that kind of thing. Really it is not a problem unless you are unsure with that kind of walking.

Perfect location, good view, nice attentive staff,

When you book through booking.com they block your amount one time before arrival and charge you again full Amount upon arrival. The first amount get released by the bank but that can take one month. So your credit is depleted for a long time. I explained that this is not the way it should happen but the wise ass at reception knew better.

great place, have stayed here a couple of times. great location, decent gym, comfortable and quiet room

only thing is the window could do with a blackout blind. it let in too much light, right over the bed early in the morning

The location is surrounded by restaurants and a super safe area downtown on HKG Island. The rooms are also clean and comfortable with amenities and great water pressure.

No signs of Hotel Name only at the glass door. So, when we follow Google, we end up at the playground next to the building and wonder where the Hotel is 😂 So we have to check the pic of the outside Hotel building to realize we are in front of it...just things to remind you as a tourist. One Guest also asked for help at a playground and experienced the same as I described... 😆

The facilities were clean and the view was very nice. We had requested 2 wine glasses and they were very helpful with that. It was also in a convenient location in the middle of Central + Sheung Wan.

The room was a bit chilly even though we had adjusted the temperature settings correctly.

Fantastic location, very central, 5 min walk to the flyover walkway that leads to Central, 3 mins walk to subway station Sheung Wan. The rooms are excellent considering the price, the bed super comfortable. Great shower. There is no big breakfast buffet. They serve you a cooked breakfast, which was perfectly fine for me, in a quirky old fashioned room with a dining table and crisp clean cotton napkins. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is located in Lan Kwai Fung so expect steep streets and steps, not perfect for people with walking difficulties (but the staff will help you get a taxi). The furnishings are a bit old, but I didn't mind that at all. The reception is quite small with no room to sit.

Fantastic locale (although slow to get to when traffic is bad!) All the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind making allowances and helping my wife in wheel chair and family get around. The gym and changing rooms were great (maybe could do with an ergo rowing machine?) Restaurant seemed very nice but we only had time to have takeaway for our room. Hotel beautifully decorated throughout and a great mix of cultures!

Unfortunately the terrace was shut for renovations while we were there which was a real pity as was looking forward to chilling there.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lan Kwai Fong Hotel - Kau U Fong. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The hotel’s location was fantastic, providing easy access to key spots around Central, making it perfect for exploring Hong Kong. The room was comfortable, and the view from my window added a special touch to my experience.

The room size was a bit compact, especially for the price, and the bathroom amenities could use an upgrade. However, these were minor issues compared to the overall experience.
