It was easy to get to the hotel as it is just on the outskirts of the centre. It was very clean and the room had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. For us it was important that we could get in and out easily as it was a 'pit stop' on our journey to and from the Dordogne. As it is I wish we had more time as Amboise is a beautiful city which we didn't give justice to.

Aircon was a little underwhelming and the wifi did not work so well in the room. It is a 25 minute walk down to the centre so if you can't walk far you will need to take the car or get a taxi.

We spent one night there during our trip in the Loire Valley. The hotel is easy to find on the outskirts of Amboise, next to the street (but the sleep quality is very good thanks to good windows). There is ample free parking. The staff was wonderful, the room was comfy and clean, rather big. There is also a quaint shop in the reception - with some clothes, scarves, leather bags and satchels - very cute :)

Friendly, efficient host, nice quiet room, comfortable bed, lovely big fluffy bath towels; pleasant breakfast room and very good breakfast with decent coffee and a variety of hot and cold breakfast options, including excellent fresh croissants and chocolatines.

Poor supply and selection of drinks in room; a few spills of instant coffee, only 3 teabags (none Earl Grey) and one spill of dried milk, and one small bottle of mineral water for two people, not replaced (because not empty?) for the second night. Stingy and inappropriate at this level of hospitality. Also didn’t like the fixed squeezy supply of universal washing liquid rather than shampoo, soap, shower gel etc in room. Again, inappropriate at this level of hospitality, and stingy. Finally, it took half-an-hour to walk from the hotel into the main Amboise shopping and restaurants area of the mediaeval town. We should have spotted this prior to booking. But the hotel IS well-places as a base for exploring the region by car, and convenient for the magnificent Chateau de Clis Luce.

Superior King Room was great with a separate toilet from the bathroom which had a bath. Free parking was also a bonus. Breakfast was also very good and not expensive at 15 euro.

Booking.com need to remove mention of wine and champagne with the room as this is not the case.

Located in a quiet neighborhood but a very close drive to the main town and restaurants. Parking was easy and available. Rooms were clean. Staff was kind but not overly friendly. We did not spend a lot of time in our rooms, but they were comfortable and as expected for room size in Eurrope.

it was pretty and comfortable. was a bit confused about the location of the shower but ended up being a good story!! breakfast was excellent with many options including fruit and eggs. woman at the desk was helpful with local map and recommendations. we had a car so were happy to have parking. we drove each day but could have walked to town easily

Great location, staff is very helpful and always ready to help. Location is great to reach most of the places worth visiting. Great parking, front gate closed during the night. Lovely terrace to enjoy a beer after visiting the chateaus. Quite a varied menu for breakfast/dining/having lunch. Staff services and laundry are excellent.

The hotel was clean and modern. Located 15 to 20 min walk to the town. It was quiet. The gentleman at the reception was excellent. I just do not remember his name. We enjoyed chatting with him.

It was on a busy road and so some rooms facing the road is not quiet.

It looked as if this hotel had recently been renovated, inside and out. Very tastefully done. Our room was small, but very nice, tea/coffee facilities and also a fridge, which was very welcome. Breakfast buffet was very good. Great location, only 20 min walk into the town center / castle.

there is no restaurant in the evening, but you can order food for room service, which we did. Not very good, walk or drive into town for dinner.

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Good sized room. Free on-site parking is a bonus. Pleasant terrace at the rear of the building. A bit away from the centre of town but okay if you don’t mind a walk.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing.
