Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. The views from the breakfast area were incredible. Our room was spacious and decor was lovely. Bed so big and comfortable, never slept in such a big bed! Lovely swimming pool. Evereywhere was immaculate. The bar was stunning and so relaxing with amazing views. It felt very special to have a private area on the beach for Nostos, sunbeds were comfortable and the whole beach experience was made extra special having David waiting on us. Lovely guy! And Stavros in the bar looked after us so well. All the staff were amazing! We felt very sad to leave and will definitely return.

I have mobility issues and found it very difficult to get in and out of the pool using the small ladder, so only used the pool once, which was a shame as it was a lovely pool. It would have been nice to see some Greek Meze dishes on the menu. The food was very good and big portions but sometimes it's nice just to be able to share lots of small dishes. However, starters are available. Never enough milk, coffee and sugar left in the room. The staff on Reception were not so friendly. These are only our personal opinions and are only comments, as there wasn't anything to dislike.

The room we have booked was big with the dormitory separated from the living. I liked to have extra space, it gives conform at least for long stays. The room was well mantained and clean. There are two pools in the resort. The beach is very small, two rows of seabeds, did not spend time there, but for a better choice there are other beaches nearby. Powerfull wifi, works even from the pool at full signal. The personel from the bar is helpful and polite. The terrace on the ground floor is a good place to recover after the heat of the day and have a drink.

To become really a 4star hotel, some suggestions: - add slippers - improve the quality of bath shower gel and shampoo - bring higher quality pastery at breakfast - give more attention to towels, twice we received them dirty with sand - place more hangers hooks in the bathroom - place some free watter in the frige

We loved the location and the direct access to the beach. The stuff was friendly and we very much enjoyed our daily breakfast with a sea view. The facilities of the hotel (e.g., pools, terrace, restaurant) were well maintained and clean, though the pool side filled up quite quickly in the mornings.

We were a bit disappointed by the facilities of the room. The room only had basic amenities, we could hear the water flushing from other rooms and the drainage in the bathroom was smelly. There have also been some flies in the bathroom which we couldn't get rid of. The room also only had one balcony door as window and was very dimly lit. It just didn't feel like a 4-star hotel...

Terrific full buffet breakfast at Nostos with seating available outside with spectacular views. The two pools were fantastic and loved the swing loungers. Generally you could find a spot. Really fabulous bar/restaurant overlooking beach. Great vibe and food terrific options. Rooms were great size with plenty of storage, huge bed, seperate sofa and seating area and fantastic view of mountains with some sea views. Location brilliant and on the best beach in Bali. Lots of restaurants nearby, supermarket under hotel and on street at end of hotel (full range of produce). Restaurant always had seating available. Staff great in dealing with a noise issue we had.

Our stay too short. Prices for loungers 30 euro a set compared to exact same at next door bar for 25 euro. Charge for replacement beach towels after 3rd day at beach.

perfect sand beach. large spacious rooms. excellent view from the window, if you are on the second floor, it does not matter whether it is a view of the mountains or the sea. It's good that you don't have air conditioning in the dining room, but only a windmill near the coffee machine. There is another one of the same kind missing in the opposite corner of the room. This allows people at least not to catch a cold while eating. Breakfast and dinner are not as mega varied as in 5-star hotels, but there is always plenty to choose from. and the food is very tasty. Thank you! I will definitely come to you again. p.s. You can get to the hotel and back from Heraklion from the KTEL bus station for 5.40 euros, but the bus is usually late by 15-30 minutes. The bus only runs every 2 hours!!!

Our stay here was absolutely stunning. Everything is clean, the room was large and beautiful. The pools are gorgeous as is the retaurant. Location is perfect for a quieter getaway to just relax. Right in the middle of the beach strip of Bali. Sandy beaches, plenty of water activities, good food at the restaurant but also a lot of other fantastic restaurants in close proximity to try. No faults at all. The staff were accommodating and no issues holding our luggage for us after check out, booked our taxi back to the airport. Friendly and reliable.

Nothing at all

We loved our stay at Nostos. Great location, right on top of the beach in a small resort town. Room decor was beautiful, and was a good size. Balcony overlooked the pool and sea. 2 swimming pools, both well maintained and beds usually available. Would recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Pool/ beach towels could be left in the room for guests to use. A discount could be offered on the sun loungers offered by the restaurant connected to the hotel.

Nice surrounding mountain/sea view. Well presented and tasty Breakfast. Friendly Staff. Clean. Bali is a beautiful small seaside town.

The daily charge of 15€ per sun lounger if wanted is ridiculous and seems to be controlled by the nostos sports staff as I overheard various price demands. I feel some discount as hotel residents would be fair.

Everything, it was beautiful. It is the first time we had a junior suite, surprising my teenage daughter with the hot tub was great. The staff are friendly and welcoming.its quiet and peaceful. The cafe attached remember your order, should you visit and return wanting the same. The location from our front door to the pool was less than 10 metres and to the beach, seconds away The views were unreal, especially at breakfast of the mountains. It seemed like we were there for ages because of the peace and with no entertainment, we made our own. It was a perfect relaxing break.

I cannot complain about a single thing. My daughter would have preferred evening and pool entertainment throughout the day but I explained it isn't that kind of hotel. For me the location was a bit far to travel out to main areas, but it was less touristy and serene.

Location excellent and hotel on the beach with numerous restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good and well organised and the Hotel and grounds were in immaculate condition and laid out most attractively.

The receptionist when we arrived lacked the usual charm we had come to expect in Cretan hotels and a smile and welcome would have been a more appreciated start to our stay. Her attitude was exactly the same when we booked out, somewhat aloof with no words of such as "have you had a good stay or "hope to see you again" or even a thank you. Having said which all the other staff at the Hotel were helpful and happy so perhaps the receptionist should take a leaf out of their book.
