Everything was very clean and the staff was very nice! They even recommended me what i could do in tama region or where i can find halal food. They have a prayer room, laundry and kitchen. I was in a woman room. I didn't hear or see often mine room mates. But if you are a light sleeper then you need definitely ohropax. Btw the pillow was great! The cabine was big enough for me, i relaxed often in mine cabine. I even cancelled mine other bookings and booked this hotel again :) definitely recommended!
Nothing - everything was good! Just some suggestions: Maybe it is possible to adjust the door closing? So that it makes lesser noise. And a mirrow in the hallway would be great!

Staff were so lovely. Everything was very clean. If you like the idea of a hostel dorm with the privacy of a capsule, then this is the perfect place. Amenities well stocked and the surrounding neighbourhood has everything you need. The common room and kitchen is so clean. Laundry available and just overall, a great place if you are on a budget and don't mind sharing facilities.
Other than not really being able to temperature control your own cabin (I feel the heat a lot- so thats a me problem), there was nothing else I would complain about!

If you ever travel to Tokyo and do NOT want to stay near all "the" famous sites but want to experience real Tokyo suburbs with easy access to food, supermarket and public transport, this is the area/place to choose. The place is as clean and well organized as it can get. The staff is exceptional friendly and helpful. Had a great experience and would come again.
Since my experience from "younger years," one should not expect a real "hostel vibe". For my wife and me that was perfectly fine. I experienced no greeting or hardly no interest from the other guest to get in communication with people they don't know. Again: that is just an issue if you are expecting it.

The people 🩷🩷🩷 the hosts, Tea and the rest of that gang who were there when I checked in from the 8th of Dec. Love them! They let you check in agead if check in time. Then, the first night I bothered Nao, the night shift crew TWICE after midnight cause I had troubles with my locker. But he helped me with the sweetest smile. I love him coz epecially he really goes out of his way to help guests, one time he helped a guest an elder man to take care of his leftovers, food trash and did everything for him (you are supposed to take care of your own trash etc after your meal) and when he is in the night shift Nao takes care of the kitchen spotless clean, like organizing and sanitizing kitchen stuff and storing them properly so other guests won't run out of stuff to use coz kitchen dining is 24 hours open. Then came the lovely Yuri, another favorite of mine who also makes sure I enjoy my stay, and very very courteous. Then Tomo, another lovely host who made sure I got booking on my limousine bus back to the airport coz Japanese website when translated into English becomes a weird place. Then the Italian bella Rena who made me feel at home even when my Italian partner is back in my home country.THE PEOPLE ALONE MAKES THE PLACE WARM ON A WINTER SEASON. the facilities are superb and you have a very good privacy. I WILL SURELY COME BACK!
Maybe dim the lights a bit buy I understand when someone needs to.prep his or her food need to be well lit ☺️

This hostel is extraordinarily clean and welcoming. It sits right near the Chuo train line which can take you right into downtown Tokyo (Eastward) or right near Mt Fuji (Westward). The rooms are spacious and the staff are very nice and helpful. The communal kitchen is also really nice. They offer complimentary razors, combs, and other things as part of your stay too which was very helpful as I did not bring that stuff with me. Also, the Studio Ghibli office is close by to here which I did not know. I walked past it completely by chance. You're not allowed to go inside, I just thought it was interesting. - I won't write this part in the "What didn't you like" section of this review as it is not the hostel's fault as they have signs everywhere telling people NOT to slam doors and talk in their rooms) but some inconsiderate guests disregard them. They do offer earplugs and I did have to tell one person that they could not talk on the phone in their room to which they stopped but just to all future guests thinking of booking this place: please be mindful of other guests during your stay. Otherwise no complaints about this place and I would highly recommend staying here on your trip to Tokyo.

The staff were super friendly and VERY helpful. The facilities are excellent, the location is great considering its proximity to the the train as well as to interesting restaurants. There is a very nice park nearby for walking or doing excercises. The value for money was ridiculously good. If you don't mind sharing a (very clean!) bathroom, don't hesitate to book.
Honestly, I can't think of anything that was missing. The information about the local area was excellent, and everything exceeded my expectations.

It's one of the best hostels I have stayed in the world, with the largest sleeping area (there is a space to open my large and small suitcases in the cabin) and a quiet private cabin at an affordable price, the cleanest bathroom area and very friendly and helpful staff. Adjustable lighting was a bonus! The location was also convenient, with many restaurants nearby and a farmer's market right next to it. I had multiple bookings due to uncertainty about my business condition and the departure date. The staff tried their best to keep me in the same room. Even when cabins appeared fully booked on bookings.com, the staff reshuffled and found one for me. I would stay here again if I would visit Tokyo.
The clothes dryer didn't have a filter, so some lint and dust were left, but it was not a big deal.

The shared dorms were basically like having your own little room! I thought it was so nice to have my own space to stretch and put my clothes out rather than the usual bunk beds. I also liked the big common area and the fact that the female dorm had a window looking out into the city.
Would have been nice to be able to turn off the hallway lights though. Also the ten minute walk to the station kind of sucks when it’s freezing outside but there’s three convenience stores on the way to the hostel so that makes up for it.

I was really impressed with this hostel. The cabin rooms provide enough privacy, so it feels like you still have your own room. The facilities were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All of the staff speak English, so you don't have to worry about communication issues. Thanks so much for a pleasant stay!
The luggage storage being out in the open with no system of writing your name made me a little nervous to leave it there. There were no issues, but I thought it should be a little more secure.

Great wifi speed for working, work area that's open for 24 hours and functional kitchen. Hostel is near everything too - train station, convenience stores, mall, food shops, groceries, medical clinics, gym, clothing shops, everything you need for a comfy stay. Staff are all helpful and approachable. It's a few minutes away from Kichijoji which is now my favorite neighborhood :) It's also just one line going to Shinjuku and Tokyo, no fuss.
