The Riverview Hotel is an absolutely charming inn and the staff could not have been nicer. The room decor was lovely, the pool area was private and beautiful and the location right on Flagler Ave was perfect for getting around on foot. A wonderful surprise were the full breakfast options included at the cafe next door.

Being an older building, it is not quite as sound proof as some new hotels. I travel with a white noise app on my phone, so that solved it!

Quiet, room was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very nice. The adjoining restaurant and bar was very accomodating. Compared to all other hotels and B&Bs in the area, I would rank this number one!!

I had no complaints about the place. The boutique in the lobby was well equipped and the prices I found to be very good. Snacks for sale were a nice touch. THe only addition I would make in the rooms is a refrigerator.

What a lovely place! The staff was informative, helpful and welcoming. The building is just so special. Modernized where needed and preserved so tastefully. Location is ideal. Everything is within walking distance but just far enough away from the louder hub-bub. So grateful for the opportunity and time to stay!

Glad I had a mid-week arrival to understand how to access parking lot from side road vs. Flagler Ave. before it got hectic for weekend. Also glad member of staff was able to carry my heavy suitcase up 3 flights of stairs as old buildings don't have elevators, right? (wouldn't have traded 3rd floor room for anything!)

We found the room very comfortable, and the climb up to the third floor was that little bit of extra exercise that we needed! Also, we want to thank the reception staff. We parked ourselves downstairs for the Superbowl and had a great spontaneous evening. We opened a bottle of wine and available snacks (gluten free, even :)) and cheered Kansas City on.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like. The propery has a lot of charm. The breakfast was well-organized and good. The bar/restaurant next door was very good. We visited several evenings. We were in town for a family wedding and so that really dominated how we spent our time.....and where.

The man at the front desk was so nice. he gave us a parking pass so we could walk around flagler ave. He called us as soon as our room was ready. We arrived really early. The room was ready by 2 which was earlier than expected. We loved the french doors and the patio off our room. We sat out there and enjoyed the river. The bed was very comfortable. There is someone at front desk 24 hrs which I like that. I got up in the middle of night and had some tea. There's a24hr coffee tea and water station. The lobby has a lovely gift shop and a sitting area with beautiful furniture with a french victorian vibe. We ate at the restaurant the service was very professional and they had live music. We enjoyed the music not to loud. The breakfast was very generous you have a choice of a huge waffle with toppings or a 2 eggs breakfast. they also serve real orange juice or coffee. The weather wasn't very good the day we stayed but,The Riverview Hotel makes it so nice and comfortable the weather didn't matter. This is going to be one of our regular places to stay.

The hotel is old but beautifully maintained. The rooms are quaint and luxurious. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They have a nice pool with lots of lush plants. The Riverview Hotel is a perfect place for a romantic getaway or just a trip to enjoy New Smyrna Beach. You can walk down Flagler Avenue to shop , dine, or go to the beach. The restaurant has great cocktails and is the perfect place to watch the sunset.

The room was very comfortable and cute. Nice comfy bed. Bathroom amenities are very nice. The breakfast next door that is included is wonderful! Friendly staff, just a great spot. They have bikes you can borrow, and pool/beach towels are available as well.

I mean, the a/c is a bit inadequate, but it was fine. Cooled off nicely in the evening.

Wonderful and historical. Super clean, friendly staff, excellent location, bikes available, free breakfast at the Cafe was awesome. Lots of dolphins to see!

Liked it all! Shower in the Riverview suite is amazing, but could use one of those bowed out curtain rods to give access little extra room in there. Amazing place, there's really nothing to not like.

We loved the balcony for coffee. We loved the Mermaid for breakfast, a real treat every morning. Use of the bicycles was wonderful. Overall a fantastic stay.

Was a bit small, but kind of expected that so was not a big deal. Could have used a little more hanging clothes space. The bed posts stuck out further than the mattress, a real toe breaker.

We loved everything about this historic place! The staff bent over backwards to ensure that our stay was exceptional. The Spa was awesome, the Grille at Riverview was outstanding and convenient. Sunsets over the inter-coastal waterway, yet less than a ten minute walk to the beach! Definitely will stay at the Riverview again!

We didn't have a fridge or coffee maker in our standard room, but we knew that ahead of time.
