The hotel/restaurant design inside was great. The food in the restaurant was top quality. Having breakfast or dining, while hanging over the river was a great experience. The hotel was located in a pretty French style street and itself from the outside was also ever so French looking, and on the inside very modern and stylish and comfortable..Top location in the town center, enough free parking behind the hotel at the opposite of the river, with camera monitoring. Not to forget the great park behind the hotel. In one word: top hotel, top food, top location, top look, top vibe.

Ambience, the staff was friendly and efficient. Great location as I was on foot so it was close to centre-ville and the train station. Breakfast was right next to the river, so I had a pretty view.

The stairs are very picturesque, but difficult to manage with luggage. There is an elevator. The breakfast was expensive for what I ate - my fault entirely as I only had yogurt, OJ and hot chocolate. I think that it would be a good value for someone who ate a lot more than I. I was fine with it, but the floor was uneven because it's in a very old building - anyone unsteady might have an issue.

The hotel position is extremely convenient, just beneath the castle and 100 meters (or so) from the pedestrian area where all restaurants, bars, and shops are located. Our room was clean, extremely spacious, beautifully furnished (with a ancient and quite amazing stone fireplace - sadly no longer operational) and with a nice view over a water stream/canal. We did not try the breakfast or the restaurant.

The parking mentioned in the hotel description is a public parking. Absolutely free, very close to the hotel.. but availability and safety are not guaranteed.

Great location in town with a lovely restaurant overlooking the river. Full of character and very tasteful. Room was very clean and good provision of towels, toiletries and complimentary water. Super king bed was very comfortable! Staff were lovely - very friendly and professional.

There was a massive smart Tv in the room but we couldn’t get Netflix or other apps on it to work and were unable to cast to it. We went out for the evening though so didn’t ask for help with this - might have been resolvable. The shower was a handheld one over the bath. Didn’t mind this but hard to keep the bathroom dry!

Nice clean and modern hotel with free parking nearby, breakfast buffet is (very) good. Our room had the biggest flatscreen TV we have yet seen in a hotel room ;) (Unfortunately the cable signal and the wifi-signal were too weak to watch anything or go online but we did not make a complaint about it since we don't stay in hotels to watch TV or surf the internet constantly).

Unfortunately we visited on a day that the restaurant was closed, but the village of Loches offers several opportunities for dinner.

Comfortable room. Very large comfortable bed. Coffee maker with coffee pods. Beautiful stone spiral staircase to access rooms - feels like you are in a castle (there is an elevator also available). Within walking distance of Loches Castle and town. Free public car park to rear of property. There is a restaurant that serves dinner and breakfast but I did not use it. There is a McDonalds 2km away.

WIFI connection was variable. Ceiling panes may be an issue for a taller person

Location was excellent as right in centre of the town. Nice view from the property over the river. Free parking close by. Good facilities in room.

Small bedroom and bathroom however the room was very lean and well equipped. Hotel did not respond to messages sent via Booking.com app and email prior to stay querying parking arrangements which was disappointing.

Very steep worn stone spiral staircase. Bizarre semi paternoster style lift. Unusual not to be able to sit in lounge area for predinner drinks and be told first night we are not open until 19.00 and the second night it was 19.15!!

Great location in the historic old town. Very quiet. Decor generally very smart. Excellent breakfast. Stone spiral staircase was a historic feature. Conservatory/restaurant overlooking the water looked superb.

While the ambiance of the restaurant was great, the quality of the food was rather average. Cote de Rhône was served too cold. Maybe add mosquito net to window for quiet ventilation at night…the fan was noisy …some mosquitoes from nearby small river.

Loved our stay here. The area of Loches is beautiful. The hotel itself was lovely in a lovely location. Rather special to have breakfast on the restaurant terrace overlooking the water. We were in an attic room which was pretty basic but the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

The room was a little tired in decor and would benefit from a bit of an update.
