Food was great! And the bed so comfortable

You can hear everything inside your room. This is not acceptable nowadays.. even though is very comfortable we couldn’t sleep with the noise.

The property is beautiful and elegant. The lobby looks like a palace. Everything was just renovated. Brand new. Our room was large, and the bathroom and shower were huge. Beautiful views of the ocean from our balcony. At night, you can hear the sounds of the waves when we are seated on the balcony. Clean, impecable, and the staff is always courteous, smiling, and helpful. We love La Peninsula buffet with a large variety of food and different themes and choices every day. The rest of the restaurants were good too. We felt relaxed, welcomed, and safe. No kids around!! An adults only resort!! We love it.

We were joking with my wife that we wished RIU Palace served Coca-Cola products, and this choice will make it perfect. Haha. We liked everything.

That you had several options of restuarants to choose from each day depending on ones own preference. It was definitely pleasant that it was an Adult only hotel.

Coming from Louisiana was expecting it to be a little cooler than 90 degrees and humidity was high for mid October. Also, being on the Pacific was hoping the water temperature would have been cooler to cool off. In the pool on far right the concrete loungers were very uncomfortable. It would of been better to been able to have the poolside loungers in the water. Since it was so hot, needed a way to cool off whether misting station too cool off or a way to cool down the water in the pools. Maybe some type of waterfall in the bar pool to stand under with cool water to cool off would have been nice.

This place was renovated and looks beautiful and clean; buffet was good, for the price; buffet stuff was always friendly; housekeeping team was great, they were coming a couple times a day to clean and check if we need anything else.

One of the front desk staff and a couple of employees at the "Cappuccino" coffee bar seemed upset—they weren't smiling or saying thank you, which felt a bit unusual and unexpected. Additionally, at the beach, a lot of people kept approaching to sell items like jewelry, offer massages, or ask for donations. While understandable, it became quite bothersome after a while, as the interruptions happened every 10-15 minutes.

The staff are very kind and welcoming. I like the cleanliness of the entire resort. There are 7 restaurants that you can choose from but our favourite is the buffet restaurant. Foods are delicious. We enjoyed the night shows . What we really want the most is the view from our room .

I booked a partial ocean view but we’re placed in a room that we can’t see the ocean at all. The view was obstructed by the palm trees . So , I requested for another room but unfortunately no available partial ocean view that time . They eventually transferred us on our 3rd night to the 8th floor with great views of the ocean and surrounding areas.

Would highly recommend for a relaxing vacation! Location: unbeatable location, with an adjoining beach. Lots of chairs next to the beach to relax, with a gentle breeze. Loved it. It was also pretty safe - we walked to a convenience store during the day and to the nearby RIU Jalisco at midnight - no issues. Rooms: booked a junior suite and it was spacious and had all the amenities needed. Food: (5/5 for quantity and variety, 4/5 for taste) - there’s one full time restaurant where we had all our breakfasts and lunches. Tremendous spread of items, even for vegetarians. We got a note from the front desk telling each restaurant about our vegetarian diet and the staff showed us the different veggie options, which was super helpful. Plenty of variety for both breakfast and lunch, limited vegetarian protein options though. Lots of fruits and desserts also. - there were 4 specialty restaurants for dinner and we tried 3 of them - Italian, Japanese and Mexican. All of them had few options for vegetarians and we had a good fine dining experience each night. Service: excellent service all over. Shoutout to Erik in the restaurant and Miguel at the kayak rental shop. Everywhere people are ready to bring you food/drinks etc and generally very friendly! Activities: had a great time lounging by the pools and beach. Organized games like volleyball kept us engaged in the afternoons. At night, they had a variety of live music and shows each night - Michael Jackson show was splendid! We also took the chance boogie boards and kayaks from the beachside shop (free for RIU customers) and enjoyed in the ocean.

It is a nice resort, the staff were wonderful and the bars were very accommodating and generous. The food at the main restaurant was very good.

I was disappointed with the specialty restaurants. The steak house was very good, but the food at the Italian, Asian and Kiyoto restaurants was very disappointing. It sure wasn't upto the standard. We have had much better food at specialty restaurants at other resorts.

I visited with my wife and my son and 2 daughters to celebrate my wife birthday anniversary. Staff are friendly and helpful all the time, hotel prices were very reasonable. Great installations. Food and drinks perfect. Food quality and variety was above my expectations. I am definitely coming back!

I am originally from Mexico so the Mexican type food restaurant was not up to my expectations. I really wanted spicy food and more Mexican. Ceviche, birria, tacos dorados, etc.

I was a little put off by the fact that one night when we went to the steakhouse for dinner, they wouldn't let anybody sit inside that wasn't an elite member. We had to sit outside in the humidity. It was not cool. Elite club members have their own restaurant if that's where they want to eat. They didn't have to block everybody else from sitting inside to eat.

pool, massage by the beach (very cheap at $35 for an hour), all inclusive food and beverage, clean, friendly staff especially the staff at La Peninsula (shout out to Maria, Dulce and Sahory)

shuttle service to the airport leaves too early hallway to the rooms too dark some servers are kind of rude didnt get to use the resort credit because you need to spend more if you wanna avail them
