This is a nice airport hotel, with an efficient shuttle service to the airport provided. It's important to know for guests arriving at the airport that they need to call the hotel and basically "order" the shuttle. These call facilities are located at shuttle stops at both terminals. The hotel was very good in providing clear information about shuttle stops prior to our arrival. While guests can have meals at the hotel, a good small restaurant is also some five minutes away walking in an area where there are also some small grocery shops and a bakery. The room was nice and clean, with enough facilities for an overnight stay.

The lack of a safe deposit box was unusual for a four star hotel and a clear minus.

The hotel was perfectly situated near the airport and the hotel shuttle was great. The front desk staff were very friendly as were the shuttle drivers - made us feel very welcome. Our flight out of Marseille was 8 hours after checkout, reception looked after our bags until we needed to go to the airport and we were able to use the hotel facilities (pool and areas around the pool is lovely) until that time too. Buffet breakfast was good too Thank you Holiday Inn

Only one criticism was the evening meal which was expensive for 1 small leg of chicken and chips, but that was the only minor complaint

Location is near the airport. It will be convenient if you need to catch up morning flight.

We paid city tax twice. We were asked to pay city tax when we checked in on July 5 late afternoon. I paid the city tax more than 8 euro by cash. However when we checked out next day moring, we were asked to pay city tax again. I did not asked for a receipt when I paid cash. I signed the form showing pay method is cash. City tax is not a lot of money, but we shouldn't had to pay twice! So ask for receipt if you pay city tax by cash.

The check in service was quick and the hotel honoured my 11am check in time which was really good of them. The one bedroom suite was big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 1 child very comfortably and the fridge with complimentary water was a bonus. The hotel offered a complimentary airport shuttle, which we used - 5mins from getting into the shuttle to arriving at the airport.

They advertised a swimming pool, however, this area was not open. The shower door opened in the wrong direction also, making you squash up against a wall to get out of the shower. The hotel really is just an airport hotel with nothing but 2 little shops and 1 restaurant within walking distance.

The restaurant was quite good, and, though small, the room was amazingly comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

My only complaint was the shuttle, which was the reason I chose an airport hotel. I scheduled a 7:40 shuttle ride and was downstairs waiting at 7:30. When a shuttle arrived around 7:45, it claimed that the 7:40 had already come and gone. (????) I ended getting a ride to the airport with another hotel guest.

I chose this hotel because of location and a free shuttle bus to the airport. But when I asked the shuttle bus to the airport. a woman at the reception told us "It is already fully booked. So, you have to take a taxi. There is no other option." So we were embarrassed. Next morning, we asked the hotel reception again whether we can use the hotel shuttle bus or not. He (other person) at the hotel reception told us there is a sit for me. I can not totally understand why the woman told us there is no available seat for me yesterday. I was really disappointed about the services of Holiday Inn Hotel. And I decided that I will never stay at 'Holyday inn hotel' again. Someone who has a plan to the hotel and use shuttle bus, please check double.

I rang the hotel 4 times from the airport to ask for the shuttle. Each time I was put on hold for 5 min then cut off. We had to get a taxi to hotel at cost of 8 euros. Possibly no reply as it was 14.00 hours close to end of lunch break.

Allergens management A peanut butter can was in the middle of jam cans, bread, croissant, cornflakes (breakfast table)... my kid is extremely allergic to peanut so be careful with the main allergens management. However nice breakfast varieties.

Staff is incredibly professional and helpful. Pool is cool. Restaurant offers good standard for fair prices. Clean, no half broken items in or around room. Shuttle to the Airport. Coffee, Tea and Table Water in the room. Perfection on this level of comfort.

Airport proximity, shuttle was really helpful. The surroundings anxiety is overblown by staff proactivity and attention to your needs and confort. Very good sound proofing so really good sleep before the trip.

I guess it was something weird that the elevator was not getting back from upper levels to ground level - we carried on foot from 1st floor all the times
