The breakfast was al’a carte, so was limited with choices. Surrounding was beautiful, back verandah opens up to the pool & garden. It has the historic heritage feel of the Dutch colonial feel, which is very pleasing. Location is in the heart of the town, close to good restaurants, department stores, markets etc.

It would be helpful if the Hotel had advised us that they do not take credit card when this accommodation was booked, just as well, we had enough cash?!! The staff member was saying electronic transfers ?? We’re international guests, it is normally credit card is sufficient, I would have thought. There are no money changers except banks!! Banks do not open on weekends!! The AUD rates are not very good, it is as bad as the money changers at the airports. The first 2x banks did not accept AUD!! Only USD!! At that point we were feeling a bit stressed & disappointed!! Front desk staff had limited English. As he had ordered us a driver to the airport which we didn’t ordered as we had ordered a Grab driver. We were not given an invoice at the end of our stay, when we left?

The room was very clean and with good layout, the bed was comfortable, the interior was simple but tasteful, the location is smack in the middle of the downtown with various options of places to eat and shop, the price (at least when I stayed) was very reasonable. Overall it’s a pleasant stay, and I would stay here again whenever I come back to Tanjung Pandan, Belitung.

The property might be in the middle of management/ ownership shift. Not that I mind, but the place was very quiet even during the holiday season. The floor in the verandah area was overtaken by moss and needed a deep clean. It’s slippery during the rainy days. The pool area was lack of ambiance, it would be great if the management would invest to revamp the pool area.

Location was great close to all restaurants and coffee/ice cream shops Staff were lovely.Nice big room,good air-conditioning quite mo outside noise.

Didn't like the first room offered, in an empty hotel why not offer the nice rooms first Floor as mentioned before full of moss and slippery needs cleaning Moped hired was of really poor quality bad brakes and helmet about 20yrs old gave back after half day

The staff, the building with high ceiling, the ambience and the location. It is a charming old hotel that has been maintained. We will stay here again when we visit Belitung.

That we had to either pay cash or do an online transfer to pay for our rooms. They did not take debit or credit cards at present and that created a bit of a problem when we were checking out.

Good location. Friendly helpful staf. Big rooms. Nice atmosphere. Good breakfast.

The location is perfect, top center. The staff so kind and helpful. Also the room is spacious, comfortable bed, well situated air con. Super deal for such price.
