Room was basic, clean, spacious, quiet, and functional. If that's all you need, then you're good to go. I'm originally from Llanelli, I'm familiar with the area, and prefer to walk as much as I can. Perhaps, the only downside is that there's no sidewalk immediately around the premises. So, expect to walk along some grassy verges and cross a couple of roundabouts, without pedestrians crossings, to reach this place. That's not a negative about the place, that's just poor building development. Staff are very nice and helpful. I did not eat here and generally stay clear of food chains. So, I can't comment on the food and drink. I still have old school friends in the area that provide recommendations: Cy Gywllt - Station Road (breakfast is brilliant), Star Hotel (cracking pint of Double Dragon), Plough & Harrow (Murton, Gower), Seagers (Gorseinon), Y Bryngywn (Pwll), Mr. Chips (St. Elli - cracking homemade rissoles), Beer Park (Dafen). Bottom line: I would stay here again.

the room is spacious and you have both a bath and shower, large tv , excellent house keeping Great food and very comfortable free parking remember to get the hotel to add your registration to the system, check on online however was a waste of time as you have to go to the desk for your key card, and same offered checkout online but you still had to go to the desk to check put your key card

key card only worked 1st night, then had to return to reception and asked them to activate my card as was not able to get in .... don't really want this performance when you have been working all day

Our room was clean and comfortable, with plush towels & tea/coffee making facilities. All the staff that we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. We didn't have breakfast but we did have a lovely evening meal in the pub/restaurant which has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The only negative was the pass key system although I can see the reasoning behind having dual purpose key card to manage electricity and stop lights being left on when room not use etc, having the power go off every time you want to go out to your car for something for instance was a right pain.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, great location across the road from the shopping centre and nice to have the restaurant onsite too.

Our only gripe is that, on arrival it took a bit of time to check in. Check in is in the bar/restaurant so staff need to multi task, also was confusion over if we had paid or not (we had! And had confirmation to prove this). Despite this I continued to receive emails from Bookings requesting payment. I don't know if this issue was at the Hotel's or Bookings' side. Didn't affect our stay though.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. Myself and my partner found the room to be spotless with a good amount of teas and coffees (staff were happy to replenish the tea station at the drop of a hat for us) The cleaning ladies were lovely to chat to, only needed the teas and biscuits replenished, but the young girl asked if there was anything else I needed for the room. Lady managing breakfast was superb, very happy to help even though she was in between managing a delivery and seeing to her breakfast room. She maintained checking in with myself and my partner during breakfast to make sure we had everything we could need. Breakfast was lovely, mushrooms beautiful and hash browns are always a favourite. Overall 10/10 to all the staff, food and facilities here at sessile oak. Will be returning again soon.

Black pudding not to my taste. I prefer it cooked a lot more. But otherwise, everything was perfect.

Firstly The manager for this place is the most accommodating friendly helpful manager and I stay away for work very often, one of the best managers in all the places I have stayed. The location was amazing for my visit, the check in was fast and easy, I was given my key cards, good security, only able to enter the building if you have a key card, parking right outside the door. Room spacious bath & shower tea, coffee, and biscuits in the room, which is a nice touch (the biscuits) Tv channels, lots to watch.. 4 pillows on the bed ... plenty of hot water almost instantly , the restaurant is literally next door, great food and lovely staff all friendly and helpful, Need more tea, coffee or milk just ask and they will happily get you some

Heating wasn't easy to operate unless you're a heating engineer who understands all the different buttons and symbols. It would be really helpful to have instructions in the room explaining this better, especially for the winter. When I eventually worked it out on the second night, the room was lovely and warm

Rooms are clean and all appliances are in good condition. Good location - closer to Shops and easy to navigate across south Wales. Overall stay was comfortable. Thanks

- Had one issue while ordering the food at the Hotel, a. For larger groups for dinner, it would be better to have some one take orders; instead of asking to book online or order from the bar counter. We were 11-12 of us and it took at least 30 mins to place the order. b. Secondly, the 20% discount (if you book the room from your website) is not applied when we place the order online, which was not informed before hand. Later Alex, has helped us in cancelling the order and then provided a new bill with 20% discount.

Nice room. Well maintained internally. Clean & tidy. Lovely staff, very helpful. Shower was very good. Controllable and consistent.

Curtains needed some attention, each only being suspended by 2 hooks. Toilet roll was of the very basic, single ply roll variety. It's still better than single sheet dispensers, but not very substantial. Maybe due to winter wear & tear, but externally the accommodation block looks a little tatty and needs some TLC.

Location was excellent for what we wanted to see and do. Two supermarkets, marks Spencer, and other major shops within practically walking distance. And Marston inn next door. Parking right outside of rooms, although just off roundabout quiet. Room warm and clean hot. Shower. Staff very friendly. Coffee tea making facilities.

Beds quite hard and pillows a bit big and stiff. Went and bought nice soft pillow from dunelm opposite as needed one anyway and then much more comfortable. Take your own and you’ll be fine.
