I had a fantastic stay, and what truly stood out was the flexible approach of the staff in handling any requests or questions. The breakfast was extensive, offering a variety of dishes that you rarely find even in 5-star hotels. The kitchen and restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to recommend the best dishes. The team here is truly remarkable, ensuring that every issue is resolved promptly and efficiently. They are among the best hotel staff I have encountered during my travels. A huge thank you to everyone for their dedication and passion for their work!

As for improvements, there are only minor details that don't affect the overall experience. Some items, like a few towels and the hairdryer, could be replaced as they have almost reached their lifespan.

Nice modern hotel with good breakfast. Right next to sea with nice views. Clean and cozy rooms.

Fridge doesn't work inside closed cabinet as it gets too hot and doesn't get cold at all. View from the rooms on back of the hotel is to harbor / storage area which is not that nice. No free parking. No prices visible before you go in. Max. 95 NOK per 24h if you park your car and do not leave! 15 NOK per half an hour. So if you come and go couple of times per day it gets expensive as counting starts from zero every time. It should be max. 95 NOK per 24h no matter how you come and go. Gladly there is chance to avoid this by parking elsewhere...

One of the best Scandic hotels I’ve stayed in Norway. New, clean, and modern, with friendly staff who accommodated an early check-in and upgraded us to a sea-view corner room. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure and temperature control. The breakfast was rich and tasty, served in a pleasant dining room. The location is perfect, right next to the Hurtigruten ferry terminal, with on-site parking at 95 NOK/day. Staff worked hard to ensure windows were spotless. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Nice hotel, nice quiet room although hotel was really full, great breakfast, lovely view over the harbour and to the mountains on the other side. Good place to stay!

No free parking. AC in my room was leaking water at first, but front desk said that was ok and happening in many rooms. Cabinet in which the small fridge was heated up and almost smelled like burning. I tried to tell this to front desk while checking out, but no-one acknowledged me although I waited for 5-10 minutes at the desk.

The breakfast and the views and the helpfulness of the staff. Some of the staff were new and they were also very good. I understood that the hotel was near to the port area and did not find this a problem at all

Being close to a brightly lit area - would be good to have public lights outside reduce the light pollution after about midnight and turn down or some of them off. I appreciate this is not entirely in the control of the hotel. The high charge for the car park - its a bit crazy when there are other options for parking but its a bit inconvenient to have to use them.

Very nice hotel by the harbour. Room was good and the breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Hotel is close to shops and some restaurants. We had dinner in the hotel and it was also very good.

Be aware that there is a car parking charge per 24hour period. You can come and go during that period without altering the total charge. In fairness the actual cost of parking per day was not excessive and park was at the door.

Very good base for visiting Vesterålen. Lovely views on the water and modern, yet cozy rooms with sufficient space. Breakfast is amazing with a great variety and selection. Sitting outside in the evening with a drink or during breakfast is so relaxing! Really appreciated the small milk cans to bring milk to the table. Amazing!

Unfortunately, one elevator failed early and didn't get fixed, leading to long queues at times. Parking is weird and the first day was billed via the rental company (with extra fee) despite the hotel staff recommending only to pay on the last day. Breakfast on Monday was a bit reduced (no waffels), but this is ok. What was worse was the fact that the holders for the lose tea are quite worn and didn't contain the tea leaves very well. Also, small improvement suggestion, if you offer lose tea, maybe consider offering tea pots as well to brew a bigger batch in one go?

Beautiful and convenient location. The breakfast was incredible! Great coffee and drinks, and vast array of food. Staff worked hard to make sure things were clean and taken care of. The rooms were nice and comfortable!

The bathrooms need bath mats! After every shower the bathroom is covered in water from spray. Had to throw down a towel to mop it up each time. We had a long day of travel and we couldn't get into our room for almost 2 hours after check in! This is unacceptable. No recourse was met, we just had to sit and wait. Didn't help that we had arrived at the same time a tour bus did, and were inundated with people.

The hotel was very clean and modern. The room had large windows with views directly of the sea and mountains. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was very generous with a wide selection. The common areas are cozy and modern. The location is right in the city center. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location and views. Smart enough hotel. Very friendly staff. Extremely good value for money, with breakfast and complementary tea and coffee at any time. Very large bathroom, confortable beds. Breakfast was just epic. So much to choose from and everything was high quality. Gests are given the opportunity to pack lunch for kr 89.

The family room, for four people, was small. I could not access the wifi
