The location was good , the sky train was within an easy walking distance, also the pier was easy to walk to. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, always friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed, it was clean and beds were supper comfy. The breakfast was really good, excellent selection of freshly prepared food, variety was great, and the breakfast staff were always Refilling the items as they were running out. The pool was lovely. We totally enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely come back .

The non-smoking room was much better, spacious, fresh and overlooked the city view which was very refreshing. The breakfast was really amazing. Wide variety of spread from basic continental to local Thai food, bit of Indian food and some speciality such as honey comb, etc. Good value for money as far as Breakfast was considered and very good food indeed. The Orchid cafe also served amazing club sandwich and was open 24/7.

The aircon was very chill and we had to keep it turned off most of the time. The aircon controls didn't seem to work well. Maybe the central aircon was too chill.

The location of the hotel is great. Getting around the city was very convenient. The are two bus stops nearby. The metro station and the river ferry were a 7-10 minute walk away. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, an Orange Superrich around the corner and a pharmacy in the same building. The restaurant food was excellent. The buffet had a ton of variety. The food was clearly marked with different ingredients such as sea food, chicken, vegetarian, halal etc. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They truly made us feel welcome at every meal. We requested a room on a higher floor and the staff were kind enough to accommodate us. The room was a decent size for a family of three and we had a nice view of the King Power Mahanakhon tower from our room. The room was clean and well equipped. There's a safe in the room and health faucet in the toilet. Complimentary bottled water was provided daily. Overall, fantastic location, great food, and incredibly friendly staff made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended.

I am a regular customer of this hotel and it is my “go to” destination when visiting Bangkok 4 times a year for a week each time. I have stayed at the hotel for at least 6 years and it has always offered first class service but recently it has upped its game even higher. The hotel has first class food comfort, location and facilities as do a lot of hotels in Bangkok. The thing that sets the Holiday Inn apart is the extraordinary qualities of the staff who clearly care about what they do and this drives first class customer service the quality of which I have rarely experienced. This ethos extends from housekeeping through restaurant, bar, reception etc and is both charming and highly efficient.

Rooms were spacious. Had a swim in the pool, which was super. Convenient location. Great street food 2 blocks down. Breakfast was a huge variety of foods from all over the world. Staff had great recommendations and were very helpful.

We could not get our loyal points from Holiday Inn (IHG) for booking here- apparently because it was through Booking.com Expensive bar.

Really like the location as regular Bangkok traveler, l prefer Silom over other more touristy areas - great restaurants nearby, lots of amazing bars and less tourist traps. Hotel room is decently sized, comfy bed with clean room and bathrooms. Stayed in the first tower (which I prefer the rooms in compared to the 2nd tower which feels more dated/smaller)

Definitely the pool is the biggest downside as it is only really a lap pool (70% of it is very deep, 20% far too shallow - only 10% useable for chilling), pool has no view compared to what many other hotels offer.

Checkin was really quick despite rush hour and breakfast spread was impressive. The team was really helpful and we particularly liked the fact that this was close to all major shopping areas and quite safe to roam around in Silom area late nights. This was a small glitch but definitely something that we won't hold against. Early checkin was another aspect that we liked and we got the same room when we extended our stay without any hassle.

You need to inform the front desk much in advance for a pick up from airport and get a confirmation.

Clean room overall with comfy bed and pillows - great for a no frills stay. Location is great in my opinion but navigating traffic at nights could be a challenge for first time visitors if don't know tips and tricks to avoid getting stuck. Would still stay again if not planning to spend time in a pool (pool is not the best) but price was good and I like the location for visiting friends.

2nd stay here on the same trip, this time I was in the second tower. Room is a bit different in the second tower - quite a bit smaller and feels more dated than the rooms in the first tower. Bathroom was very small - felt cramped for 2 people getting ready at the same time. Pool is a let down as it has no view and only good for laps, while I prefer to chill and have a drink with a view in my pools when visiting Bangkok :)

The room was bright, it we clean, it was spacious with many amenities. the bathroom was tight but the pluses cancels that. The lobby was large and welcoming with copious seating. there are two computers in the lobby should guests need to use them. The staff were very welcoming and professional. Emirates airline houses their A380 crews there. The restaurant was spacious and clean and the breakfast buffet breakfast items were so delicious and varied that could easily be tempted to overeat. They could teach Starbucks a thing or two about making latte.

Bathroom was a bit tight but the space was put where the guest really spends the most time.
