Friendly & accommodating staff. The owner provides breakfast in the mornings and if you let her know you eat pork for example she will make sure there are a couple of items that don't have pork in it.

The smokers sit outside their rooms to smoke which impacts the non-smoking guests that are in the immediate area.

The owner was very nice and accommodating. Our cabin was clean and the vibe was casual with a family feel.

The rooms could use double locks for safety. One room we reserved had them but not all rooms. Could also use a little more lighting outside.

People were extremely nice and helpful. Very pleasant.

There were ants all around on porch. Room was clean. The thing That was the biggest inconvenience was cell phone only picked up outs on porch or near WINDOW.

This is a neat little place to stay if you like camping. We have stayed at this place many times over the years. Everytime has been amazing.

FABULOUS! We went to relatives homes from Breakfast. Just needed a comfortable, clean, relaxing room without a lot of noise. wifi service, tv, refrigerator and good shower/tub, comfortable clean bed, good carpet...walls...sinks...supplies was what we needed so I didn't pay much attention to anything else. Just didn't want to end up at an old stuffy B&B type place. The price was so cheap I was actually afraid it would not pan out. Originally had looked at reviews on three nearby hotels and decided on Whispering Creek instead.....and glad we did. Little country setting under the big huge pines and Texas skies! Walking trails and no hassle.

Wish our trip could have been longer because this is where I would choose....definitely.

Inviting and friendly staff. Rooms were neat clean and air conditioning worked great. Awesome homemade breakfast burritos. Only minutes from town and 25 minutes to Sabine ATV park. Overall great experience

No ice machine or WiFi. No complimentary laundry bag for dirty laundry.

I was very pleased with Whispering Creek. Simple and very close to our business in Newton, as well as very affordable. We will definitely stay again when we are in Newton.

The ONLY complaint I have is that I had no signal inside the room, I even connected to their Wi-fi but still could get no calls, texts or internet. Other than that is was great.

Nice stopover on a cross country cycle. Lovely, clean room, all the usual amenities, and a comfy bed. Really quiet, got a great sleep.
