The location is perfect - only a short walk from the old, pretty part of Bergerac, the River Dordogne and a big selection of restaurants. It is also only a short walk from the train station for day trips to places like Sarlat or Bordeaux. And, for those with a car, there is a car pack. The air conditioning in the room is efficient and the beds are very comfortable. As older guests we appreciated the lift. The staff speak English and are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and garden are a bonus in a hotel which is so central. Overall, this hotel is good value for the price.

Breakfast was disappointing for 12 Euros pp - especially the coffee from a vending machine. The family room would have benefitted from a more imaginative decor - it was very beige and bland.

Secure car parking. We arrived at the hotel at around 11:30 knowing the room would not be ready until later in the day. The owner was on reception and he was very friendly and advised we could use the car park immediately and the rooms would be ready later. Upon check in the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Rooms air conditioned which was vital as it was 32 degress C outside. Rooms and hotel spotlessly clean. Pool and seating area a bonus a right in the centre of Bergerac. Only stayed for 1 night as flying back to UK the following morning but I would stay here again when visiting Bergerac and would recommend this hotel.

Very friendly, helpful and honest staff who returned my girlfriends sunglasses that she left in the dining room at breakfast. Thanks so much. Family room was a really good size. Excellent pool and lovely garden. Perfect location, just a 2 min walk into the heart of Bergerac town.

The room was a bit dusty and needed a deep clean.

This hotel is really special and the one to choose if visiting Bergerac. Helpful and friendly staff, a really comfortable room, and the added bonus of a garden and pool to relax in. Also a great location. I would highly recommend it and certainly hope to return. So a big thank you to everyone at Hotel de Bordeaux!

The location of the Hotel is perfect for the short walk to the old town and the Dordogne River. there was some construction of the road going on outside however this did not affect our stay. outside space very pleasant pool area was nice.

our room was a little dated, very basic, only view was of a wall. this did not affect us to much as like to get out and about.

Central position , short walk into town.. Friendly staff. Pool and terrace. Good buffet breakfast.Very clean. Comfy bed.

It would have been nice to have had a mini refrigerator and a safe in the room. This was a standard room , maybe other rooms did.

Booked this hotel en route to the Basque area of Spain, it’s. reasonably small hotel with friendly helpful staff and just a short walk to the historic quarter with bars and restaurants. Secure parking available at rear for a small charge. Excellent breakfast choice. At the time of visiting (May 23) building improvement works were under way in front of the hotel and the covered market are. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice hotel in centre of town. Close to everything. 3 mins walk from old town. Great pool although didn't get time to use it. Bedroom and bathroom very nice. A lot nicer than the interior of the hotel.

It was a flying visit and we didn't have breakfast. It could do with updating, but maybe that's just me

Room fairly small but had everything needed including kettle, soap and shower gel, sufficient clean towels and bedding of decent quality. Excellent "French style" breakfast, good choices decent plentiful coffee. Dining inside or outside available. Well located, accessible hotel with large "pay for" car park right in front of hotel entrance.

Common areas such as room corridor needs updating. Room locks by use of old fashioned conventional key and does not self lock - remember to lock when leaving room or retiring for night. Front entrance locked at 10pm. Must use a code number printed on key fob to activate lock via a keypad in front lobby. Code number did not work for me immediately, thankfully electronic lock activated on 4th attempt!

Location, with free parking right outside, is excellent. Staff were lovely. Pool area is very nice. Breakfast was good.

The room was a bit small but it did have everything we needed and we were only there for one night so it wasn't an issue. I would say that getting in and out of the (quite highsided) bath might be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.
