The owner was friendly and welcoming and patient with our rusty French. She recommended a good nearby restaurant. It was wonderful to have air conditioning. The house was very attractive. Minutes walking distance from the centre and with a beautiful enclosed garden. The pool was very clean but sadly it was raining so we didn't use it. Breakfast in the garden room was excellent.

Nothing really. Chateau Thierry isn't a very interesting town but the river side gardens are attractive.

Breakfast was a nice start to the day and it was enjoyed in a lovely breakfast room overlooking the stunning back garden. The suite was adorable and beautifully furnished. Marie is an outstanding and very friendly hostess with great style.

We only had one concern and that was the pullout bed. The bar beneath the mattress could be felt and therefore it wasn't the best sleep for my two friends. My other friend and I slept very well in the double/queen bed. It was very comfortable.

Fantastically relaxing stay in a beautiful house with lovely garden and warmed swimming pool, right in the city center. The hostess did all she could to make us comfortable.

Everything was in walking distance. Marie was awesome! She's pleasant and had everything ready and waiting for us. I would DEFINITELY stay there again!

The location was very good for walking to town/restaurants and the river. It was easy to drive to the WWI and WWII sites. The owner Marie was exceptional, very charming. The breakfast was good, especially the day she served us "French Toast". It as an easy drive to the Champagne district and Epernay. We stayed here since we were flying out of CDG mid morning and wanted to be away from the airport--good choice.

The big home is a little quirky but it grows on you. The stairs are narrow and our rooms were on the 3rd floor.

The room was great and the bathroom spacious with a great shower. Marie was delightful and her petit-dejeuner was perfect. Air conditioning!
