We stayed at the Embassy when a tornado hit down the road from the hotel. Earlier in the day we got a weather alert I hadn’t seen before, so I reached out to the Embassy by text asking if there was somewhere safe to go at the hotel if we had a tornado warning. It turns out they have a really good shelter if they need to use it. We heard nothing inside it, but my mom stayed in the room with our dogs and said the noise was loud as the tornado went by. Very thankful to have stayed at the Embassy.

The 2nd night they ran low on snacks during the evening reception so we barely got any. Didn’t realize there wouldn’t be more out out or we’d have gotten some while we were down there at the start. Everything else was excellent about our stay.

Was my second stay at Embassy suites in the past year. After the first time I stayed, it is my preferred place when I’m in Norman. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Especially after having acquired the problems during the Microsoft issue. They were very organized and, got us to our rooms quick, to let us in because the key card system was down due to the Microsoft outage. There was almost no wait time on assisting us. Absolutely awesome. ! Proven great leadership and great planning to reduce the inconveniences to the guest! Awesome job management and your team!

We liked the hours of breakfast, variety of food items, choices of beverages, breakfast area in large open space.

These are NOT negative comments, just personal observations. - A breakfast area floor management staff needed. Due to the healthy volume of guests, many of us been waiting for a prep. & occupiable table - At the made to order line, if guests would be allowed to select the ingredients before hand and pass over for cooking, it could reduce the line waiting time. Thank you !

Honestly everything there isn't 1 thing I liked the best cuz the whole place our whole trip was the best experience we ever had with a hotel and we have had some good experiences but the Embassy Suites in Norman hands down absolutely 💯 the best ever..

The only thing I did not like was it kept declining my PayPal card, I had over $400 in my account, I asked the assistant manager what was going on and she said that their machines has a hard time accepting PayPal and Cash App cards and they stopped taking cash so I couldn't get the money out of the ATM so I could pay for our room, but luckily my sister-n-law had came at the right time n used her bank card to pay for it n I just paid her back, but that is the ONLY complaint I have....

breakfast was wonderful....facilities were great

being charged $12.00 parking fee that was not in the total charges invoice I received in email. The hotel sent me a second email indicating the charge. I called the hotel and the customer service person was VERY reluctant to delete the charges. I don't know if they were deleted from my card or not. I know this is not a lot of money but I am absolutely against these ghost charges for quoted services.

Hotel decor very lovely. Landscaping was gorgeous. Location was ideal. Walking distance from shops & restaurants, if desired. Beds were very comfy. Sound proof walls! Room was clean.

Breakfast selection needs yogart parfaits with granola added to the choices...or maybe I just overlooked it. Too many desk clerks competing to answer one question. Daughter stepped onto the pool patio and got lock outside of the swimming pool area. Had to jump the fence to get back inside the hotel! Pool patio needs a couple of umbrella tables for those who aren't trying to tan but want to enjoy fresh air after swimming.

The rooms were spacious, well maintained and clean. Breakfast is the best of any hotel I have stayed at. The staff was always super friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.

The convention center chairs were murder on my back. There was not lumbar support and I really needed that this time. The parking lot had some shade trees, but three times as many would be welcome.

Breakfast was excellent though lunch and dinner from the bar was a little overpriced, but good quality. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Everything seemed well maintained. We will definitely be back again.

Room darkening curtains could extend a little further past the windows to block out more light. Opting out of room service instead of opting in each day would be more welcome, but the maid service we got halfway through our stay was excellent.

I loved our room which was surprisingly spacious. The ease of getting to the OU campus was great. We also loved the view of the runway at Westheimer and were able to see our daughter come in for a landing. The proximity to dining and shopping was perfect.

While I appreciate the ability to get the room key on our phone, there was zero interaction with staff which still seems odd…but wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

Super friendly staff, clean and luxurious furnishings. Love the breakfast that was our favorite. Eggs and pancakes made to order! So gooooood!! I’d give them 20 stars if I could! Will definitely be back! Oh don’t forget to tip the cooks. They work hard and was surprised to be one of the first people to do so.

Shower water was not as hot as I would have liked it to be.
