The location was great, close to a wide selection of places to go for shopping, food, and exercise. It was also close enough to downtown where a friend and I had dinner at IX II IX, a very good Korean bar and restaurant (the truffle fries and always hot and tasty). The hotel room was comfy, clean, and the staff were accommodating and nice.

The look of the room is a bit outdated and I think the price per night could be less, considering I've stayed in hotels in the area that are better and more spacious at a price point at least $30 cheaper. Nonetheless, I'd book at the Hampton again though.

The desk clerk was very friendly and professional, also the kitchen staff was polite & willing to assist with anything that was necessary, the breakfast was great! The room was cleaned and comfortable, I love that I received daily texts about needing anything while staying there , location was near the main stores/restaurants…

I didn’t get a chance to watch the outside television , use the grill or the fireplace and I was so disappointed being that I stayed 2 nights and it wasn’t in use

Organization and appearance of lobby and outdoor entrance - had a little seating area with two rocking chairs and an old English-looking telephone booth and lots of foliage with outdoor party lights hanging above the path. Liked the fresh bananas and apples for guests to take at their pleasure. It has a really nice outdoor entertainment area with fireplace and grill and pool. People were hanging out and grilling despite the heat and humidity. The breakfast and dining area were top notch.

Not a big fan of requesting housekeeping. I can understand asking for new towels but I do like to have my bed made when I'm paying for a stay and I do like to have my tiny, little wastepaper baskets emptied each day (without asking). I guess the asking is not that big a deal.

The location to the mall was great and food closeness we loved we normally stay at best Western but we're slowly falling in love with Hampton inn

Not being charged almost the same amount as the night before when online the rates were cheaper on Sunday than Saturday so that was kinda weird to pay so next time I'm hoping that we could actually get the cheaper Sunday rate other than that the stay was amazing!!

The property was beautiful with the trail and lake so close. We saw ducks and turtles which our son enjoyed. The hotel was clean and modern. Air conditioning was excellent in room. The room was very nice and I liked the soap, shampoo and lotion that is provided. Free breakfast was good as well. Front desk staff was nice and helpful.

The beds were not as comfortable as other hotels. Breakfast was until 10am but staff was already putting items away at 9:45. They were not as friendly as other staff. If breakfast is advertised until 10 am. It should start being put away AT 10 and not earlier. Minor inconvenience overall it is a great hotel.

I liked the room; the area was peaceful and quiet. I had hoped for a better view based on the online pictures. The location was close to many stores and restaurants.

The breakfast options were very limited. I tried the premade omelet, and it reminded me of a Dunkin Donuts egg and cheese wrap, but worse. The fresh fruit options were limited to apples and bananas. You need to offer more options for guest that don't eat pork products or processed foods. The facility had only one working elevator and that is simply unacceptable for the capacity of the hotel.

I enjoyed the great coffee and breakfast. The outdoors around the hotel was great too. It has a lake behind hotel with a walking path. It was great !

Nothing ...... just a quick note ! ALWAYS have a chair in the room with a lamp behind it ...... not just an office desk chair. Some hotels have stopped the comfortable chair and I think that is a terrible idea. After traveling all day it's great having a soft comfortable chair in the corner to relax in.

The breakfast that was included was very good. We were extremely happy with our stay here and would definitely stay again when we are traveling back that way again! THANK YOU!

Everything about our stay was great except one MINOR thing, the pillows were pretty bad in our opinion. If we had more room (we are moving and really didn't have a inch left for anything) we would have brought our own. Of course, it's OUR OPINION so they may be just fine for others.

The breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable, andI was happy with the cleanliness, which I think is lacking in many hotels now a days! Andre checked us in and greeted us with a smile and kindness! That is very important to me. Check in and out was quick and easy. We visited Columbia to tour USC. I would definitely stay with you again if my son decides to make Columbia his home for 4 years!

The location, in a quiet area, but very convenient to the highway. The room was spacious and clean. The gentleman at the front desk, Olivier, was very friendly and efficient.

The carpet in the bedroom was clean, but still showed there had been lots of traffic. Laminate flooring would be better, in our opinion. The breakfast was good but limited. Our room was close to the elevators, and we could hear the mechanism during the night. The pet fee was reasonable, but we were disappointed to learn that it will be increasing in January '23.
