The personal involvement and interest of our hosts Alan and Annabelle who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, despite the complications of load shedding, and also assisted us in visiting the Battiss Museum which was a highlight of our trip. Alan's local knowledge which he generously imparted was invaluable.

We were there on a weekend so couldn't get dinner at the Guesthouse, which by all accounts has a great table, but there was a satisfactory alternative a mere three blocks away. We did enjoy the breakfast that Annabelle provided on Sunday morning.

Best part of this accommodation is the owners. Very friendly, helpful and told us everything we wanted to find out about turmoil in that part of the country leading to the hanging of 5 rebellious afrikaners who were hanged at Slachtersnek. Fantastic coffee!

Even though we had the room closest to parking , it was still difficult for someone with hip problems. We had to look for staff when we went for breakfast and there was no fruit salad and little plain yoghurt. I didn't manage to connect to wifi.

I liked that it was hassle free and we had no unfilled need. I also liked the honesty bar. The breakfast setting in the old church was amazing.

Nothing noteworthy.
