Beds memory mattress still has the memory of the last thousand guests that have slept on it. For the last 10 years. Two large groves on each side of the mattress. Sorry this was supposed to be for the things I liked.

Above statement..... The afternoon complimentary cookies, were extremely small and very little flavor. The hotel must have changed cookie brands. Spunkmiers were extremely better. Also the cookies were extremely over baked almost burnt. Only one waffle maker, they had two ?. But that was about 5 years ago. When they have a full hotel, only one Waffle 🧇 maker slows down breakfast a lot. The one they have is taking longer than normal to make the waffles, and then their not cooked all the way through. Getting another waffle 🧇 maker can't be that expensive ?.

When we checked in, we were greeted by Chris who was very friendly and even offered us fresh baked cookies while we waited... during the stay he was helpful in many ways. Rooms were large and clean, beds very comfortable, easy parking and large spaces (less door dings) ocean was across the street. Close to Nye beach community, a few blocks to Hwy 101 Coast Hwy so it was easy and quick to get to the restaurants and Historic Downtown Newport. Breakfast selection was very good and tasty hot and ready for everybody at 6:30 AM so you can get your day started early. We will definitely stay here again. Good Job Comfort Inn Newport. (PS: Be sure to visit LOCAL SCOOP ice cream shop on Hwy 101, Tillamook and Umpqua ice cream served with a very large selection, they even have Black Licorice ice cream)

Very clean and up to date interior in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast room was clean and provided appealing options for breakfast, 24-hour desk and free parking. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Elevator stropped working during the night. Thankfully after I took my bags up, and it was working by the time I had to checkout. It would have been helpful to have a printed directory of all the TV channels as there are a lot and the guide function on the TV did not work.

Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Location near beach and away from traffic was great. It was also convenient to shopping and local attractions. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. Fitness room was small but clean and thoughtfully equipped.

Room was rather small for king bed. I got a little claustrophobic. Hot breakfast was good but variety of foods was limited.

Mirror frame was broken at some point and cheaply repaired... no tv channel guides in the room. They would have been helpful. Key wouldn't work... her machine wasn't working to make them. Breakfast staff wasn't friendly...

Loved the cookies and the front desk clerk was very nice.

Walls must be super thin because I could literally hear the lady in the next rooms conversation. Turning the TV up helped but the morning was the same way with people talking and waking us up.

The hotel was walking distance to the beach, breakfast was decent, and Jolene on the night shift Sat Jan 18 went above and beyond to help me get my same room for 2 nights when I showed up unexpectedly early.

The bed was a little firm for my liking but everything else was great. Excellent water pressure on the third floor.

First time for us at Comfort Inn Newport and the only question we have is "why didn't we stay here before?". The location is perfect with a short walk to both Bayfront and Nye Beach. The hotel is very comfortable, staff are helpful and friendly and breakfast is quite good. This is our new go to in Newport

I needed to make an adjustment to my booking. Samantha went above and beyond to make that happen. Thank you!! We were greeted by a professional and friendly registration employee. We had a very small portion of breakfast.

The blueberry & chocolate chip muffins. The muffins didn't have a good flavor or texture.

Breakfast was good, but would of liked the option of cinnamon rolls or danishes, and maybe a pancake maker rather than a waffle maker. I loved the price! The quality of our room and amenities was excellent:)

The price to wash and dry laundry is a bit much especially when the heating element in the dryer was broken and did not dry my clothes they were still very wet :( A sauna or hot tub would be recommended:)
