Staff behind the bar were friendly and really helpful. We arrived about 6.30pm and the kitchen accommodated us with a gluten free meal for my husband which was amazing at short notice. Breakfast was good but could have done with a refill for coffee. We were the only guests that morning at breakfast and the chef that morning made us a great breakfast.

A green light in the bedroom ceiling which lit the whole room at night I think it is for fire regulations but it was a bit bright. Very noisy room in the morning due to traffic on the main road, but that was down to me booking a place to stay which was situated on a main road and no fault of the place at all.

Great location on the edge of the village, yet close enough to walk to all the amenities. Staff were really friendly and hospitable and couldn't do enough for us. The pub was busy, and the karaoke on Saturday was a great night. Also, only a 15 minute walk to the Ingleton Falls trail (well worth an afternoon walk) and 20 minutes from Ribblehead viaduct and half hour from Hawes, a lovely little market town.

Only one downside, and it is a small one, the pub is on an A road which can get very busy

Evening meal was excellent, one of the best steak meals I have had in a long time. Wife was also impressed with the steak and ale pie. Both were washed down with some excellent beer and wine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable.

As expected when booking, the location on the main road made for some disturbed sleep as the trucks came through what seemed like all night. Our room was at the front so particularly noisy.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy and, although a little on the small side, suited our requirements down to the ground. The pub itself was well kept and seemed to be popular. We could see why when we tried the food and ale from the bar. The rooms facilities were excellent and the shower was a generous size and powerful The location of the pub, while on a main road was excellent for the village, being only a 5-10 minute walk into the heart of what can only be described as a beautiful village with stunning views of the surrounding countryside

The pub was located on a busy main road, and the nights and early mornings we were woken by the number of HGVs that appeared to speed down the road.

Perfect location for our trip to Gaping Gill. Food amazing and staff were very attentive. The room was small but perfect for our needs with a fan which was super. Fridge on the landing for our food we'd brought. We were awake very early and guests can leave by an un-alarmed fire door which has a key to access from outside. All these little thoughts mean that we will definitely use again

The traffic from the road was noisy so you can't leave the window open unless you can sleep through anything. The fan does a great job of keeping the room cool

Very nice small room had what you needed for a small stay lovely pub and grub great location.

My only thing I didn't like it was very warm in the room a fan is provided but it was thick with dust. That would of just blown all over the room if switched on. So didn't use it.

Its a short walk from the waterfalls, so location was excellent. Room was cosy and clean. Food and staff were excellent.

Check out was 10am which we found quite early compared to other places we have stayed. And we had a front bedroom which was next to the main road. Which was noisy even thought the night with the trucks from the quarry passing next to the window.

Very clean and well maintained. Room cleaned everyday with fresh towels. All staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Would return for sure.

Situated on main A65 so some traffic noise but did not spoil the stay. Small price to pay.

A warm welcome from the staff. The food was amazing. The little chocolate waiting for you on the towels when you walk into your room. I loved the in the landing area lots of information on what to do where to go and if you needed anymore extra for teas and coffee it was there for you.

It was nothing that could be helped but the traffic noise was on going no fault of the premises. I know the A65 has a lot of traffic which runs through all hours of the day and night.
