I recently stayed at the Villa Chez Batista and enjoyed the proximity to the beach, which was just steps away from the property. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything one could need for a comfortable stay. The food was excellent, with a variety of delicious options available.

My experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the front office staff. Despite the beautiful location and amenities, the lack of professionalism at the front desk detracted from the overall experience.

location and beach very beautiful. pure nature around you. you have to rent a car if you want to explore and see something because there is nothing near the resort. the restaurant is good, the food is delicious, I would say the prices are average for Mahe. breakfast is really minimalistic, for me personally quite poor.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Fruits, cereal and cooked breakfast. Also pancakes. The bar and dining area is right on the sea front with beautiful views. The narrow beach that arcs from the complex is pleasant, just watch out for the odd wave that can come right up. Great area for snorkeling, good variety of sea life to see. It does get quite rocky when you wade out and the are sea urchins, so be careful! I would be more than happy to stay here again.

There are lots of mosquitoes. Netting for the beds and applying insect repellent is highly recommended.

The staff was really kind and helpful, the location simply perfect, very difficult to find this quality/price for a structure directly on one of the best beaches in Mahe. The breakfast was good enough, and room clean and neat. Due to a problem with our flight we arrived to the structure with one day of delay, and we really appreciated that they did not make us pay for the one night we missed.

Nothing, everything was perfect, just some advices: The structure is sorrounded by nature, so it can be normal to find some insect around. Breakfast was good but can maybe be improved in choice (tastes were really good, at least for us). It is a bit isolated, not a problem for us. Restaurant prices are a bit high, but in line with similar places.

Room was fine, nothing special, the fridge did not work at all. Small novelty type bar fridge inside the cupboard. The heat inside the cupboard and lack of airflow I think is the problem. Did nothing to my drinks etc. Location is amazing, you cannot be closer to the beach. Food was very good, beer was ice cold, restaurant and bar is bit expensive, but I guess this is to be expected when you have this type of venue. Staff was great, hosts too, and also my airport transfer guy. Very pleasant and drove very well in some nice cars.

If I had to nit pick just the bar fridge was a bust.

TV did not work, WC/bathroom was not lockable (Room 19). WIFI works only in the restaurant/reception (21. century?)

Excellent location as the beautiful Takamaka beach can be viewed from our room and kids enjoyed the beautiful beach and landscape. Staff were good in arranging surprise birthday cake as told on wife's birthday. Friendly staff too.

The door lock needs to be changed big time. Some staff need to be more professional as we feel they lack few information around. The breakfast menu is the same all day. Hotel can include free breakfast while quoting the room rent. Overall it was a good experience.

My requirement were for me quite clear, so it worked our perfect. A breakfast was continental with UK flavour, I had a villa with a garden view and after ten step sat at the ocean. A dinner should be paid separately and it was pricy but very delicious. My villa was decorated with flowers after each cleaning. Extremely helpful was the administrator and stuff. Everything, including needles for sewing, checking my excursion with an organizer, arrangement of new transfer after mine was cancelled and charging adaptor was orginized with smile and care.

As I have said, it suited perfectly my needs. However, I fairly need to say something for future guests. One of windows in my villa was broken and I noticed it very late as I replaced the furniture. I stayed in times of North-West Monsoon, so it was impossible to bath in the bay because of waves. If you definitly want to swim at any season, go to La Digue. Water is pricy, but I bought 10 liter canes in the nearby shop, so I did not have any problems. But it is definitly a nice quite hotel.
