Everything was perfect but the price. The room was clean with comfy beds and fridge. We got the topfloor east facing room with a little lake view. The breakfast and the dinner was delicious , during our stay the 7 days we got all the hungarian “musthaves” with nice dessert and fruit varieties.

I only did not like the price of the double room with half board, as a local it seems a bit overpriced. We had to pay for the sunbeds at the hotel’s strand.

The food dis not get good rates in the comments, but it was good quality and variety as well. The young waitresses was quicker and more polite than Hotel Marina, and yet they would give a smile as well, wishing good day. Amazing!!!! The room was better than Marina, the colors the furniture, the bathroom was awesome( we have new rooms in both hotel)and the balcony, OMG .The complimentry water was very nice and the bed was very comfy. The room had water boiler, coffee tea sugar! The facility downstairs area is the biggest and they can use well the spaces. Also the lifts are on two separate sides, therefore not as crowdy.The bubbles club for the kids is very good, here are more flexible ( we asked glass painting and they said ok) than Hotel Marina or Danubius BÜk). The receptionist on Wednesday afternoon at 1400, the gentleman with glasses...very professional, you can see he is enjoying his work, he explains everything, very kind and smiles!!!! He should teach the other receptionist how to behave behind the desk!!!

The waitresses and cleaning ladies are smiling more when they see a guest than the receptionist. Even at check out they don't say thank you for staying with us, have a good trip, can I help with something else, and this is Hungarian to Hungarian!!! I am not sure what they say to a foreigner .. The bubbles club should go out to Annabella beach because in the afternoon no one will stay at the hotel pool, which is very cold for kids. I did not like the sunbeds at the beach, I asked 3 people how does that work or how to pay they did not know. The hotel says it does not belongs to them ( handing over the chairs) well may be it should be. If

Good food, great pool, nice area and nice staff. Kids friendly place with activities for them as well. Really close to the beach and marina. Room was a bit dated though.

This hotel was originally built in 1968. I stayed with my Mom and sister for several days at that time and I still remember what a nice place it was today. It has since undergone extensive renovation and we stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms on our visit to Lake Balaton this past June. How was it? In a word...wonderful. The restaurant is now a buffet for breakfast and dinner. (Included with the room rental) Everyday there were new items on offer and the kitchen definitely satiated my craving for good hungarian food. The private beach is located just across the boardwalk and there are beach chairs on offer for a nominal fee. There are also two swimming pools located on the property Special mention to Mr Kiraly at reception...very helpful and friendly man. Ms Andrea - restaurant staff. Also helpful with recommendations.

The buffet and restaurant could get fairly crowded at peak times but if you came 40 mins the initial rush it was fine.

The rooms had a beautiful view, the rooms were perfect for their purpose. The pool was great as well, it wasn’t cold but just cold enough to cool off a bit in the heat. The food was delicious and there was a lot to choose from. The location was perfect as well, right next to the beach and just a 15 minute walk from the port. There was also a dancing event with live music which was super fun!

The rooms were kinda old fashioned (standard rooms) so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are going there to be in their hotel room most of the time, but why would you want to stay inside at such a beautiful place?

the newly renovated rooms are beautiful, spotless and nicely designed! the location of the hotel is right off the Tagore promenade and the marina is only 5-8mins by foot. the breakfast was between 7AM-10AM, but even at 9:50AM, guests are welcome to grab a late bite. every staff member we encountered was kind and helpful. you can use the hotel's private beach even after checking out.

the price of the accommodation is too high, to put it simply. it was the weekend of the Anna bál, but still, Balatonfüred is not for average-earning Hungarians anymore. to compare - I have stayed in one of Miami's best hotels for the exact same nightly price before. the design in most of the hotel's common areas is outdated. the furniture in the breakfast area is old, worn out and not comfortable. even when the beds are pushed together to make a double bed, there is a gap between the beds, which is very uncomfortable to sleep on. the check-out time (10AM) is too early. most hotels around the world have it at 11AM or 12PM which is much more comfortable.

Breakfast and Dinner format was plentiful & convenient.

"Entertainment" (Dancing) in the lobby continued until 11:00PM and was very loud. Every room on the south end of the property was negatively impacted. We were on the 3rd floor and could not sleep until the music/noise finally stopped. Not considerate of guests in a fully-occupied family hotel. By the way - parking was a disaster! Lot was completely "overfilled" due to the weekend. We had to park on a curb in a dirt area - and were still charged the full parking price for the inconvenience.

Perfect location.exceptionally clean. in house cleaners so friendly and perfectl cleanliness.Pool boys very friendly and obliging well done to them.Receptionists do there best. Pool area lovely but could be supervised more.in order to maintain a peaceful happy place for everyone.99 percent of guests respectful.

House rules seem to change with each frequent visit in the last year.Early check in can become a problem. Otherwise everything exceptionally good

A huge hotel located in the best place of Balatonfüred. A three-star hotel that offers services that usually only available in higher class hotels. The price value ratio is one of the best. They have an inside pool, sauna and a private beach to the Balaton which is really nice. They offer a very good selection of food for breakfast and dinner as well in a buffet service. Cold and hot meals too. Unlimited free soft drinks (Coke and Rauch products) for dinner which is exceptional. Kind and friendly staff.

A travel back in time but not certainly in a bad way. One thing's for sure: The hotel has a retro vibe in every way. The inside pool’s temperature is too cold. I don’t know what’s the point offering the same one as the Balaton. In this case most people would prefer the Balaton. The Wi-Fi is practically unusable in the room.

The hotel seen a better days as it is quite old, however everything is working as it should, the rooms are clean and have mosquito nets which is a big +, staff are very friendly and helpful, facilities are good, and the food choices and quality was 4*👍

A little bit of investment into the bathrooms would do a huge change on a + side. Our rooms didn’t have the shower holder which is not a big deal but make the shower a bit awkward.
