Room and bed excellent, breakfast and service was superb. Also everything was spotless clean thank you so much.

The bathroom was big enough to have a slightly larger shower and perhaps a shelf and a couple of hooks

Mundesley is a Good location to stay, quiet , 2 mins walk from the town and beach. Just a short drive away from Wroxham for a trip on the Norfolk Broads. Close to sheringham & Cromer if you fancy a day at the seaside. Blickley hall is definately worth a visit to. The locals are really friendly and will let you know the good places to eat out. Vernon arms is really good pub grub, made to order. But you must book in advance to get a table. Only 7 mins drive from Mundesley. We had gorgeous weather whilst we was there , plenty to do and see if the weather is good.

Not a lot to do if the weather is rainy as most museums and stately halls do not allow dogs. But all pubs seem to be dog friendly.

Location chosen as daughter staying not far away. Staff very friendly, ladys in the restaurant for buffet excellent as was the breakfast service.

Curtains didn't block out the bright lights from the pub garden or the morning sun so woken early. The bath was very slippery and didn't notice the bath until after I nearly went over, perhaps a small sign to advise guests of the presence of the bath mat and it would be advisable to use it. There were holes in the shower screen where a towel rail may have been and when you showered the floor became very wet, it would be a cheap and very easy fix. Even with the above I would definitely stay again

Breakfast was good, with choices of cereal and cooked breakfast. The room was comfortable and quiet, however the room could do with some updating, especially the shower. We only had dinner once at the hotel which was a carvery and I thought it was good and fairly good value for money.

The room needed updating as we had issues with the shower and controlling the temperature. The room could do with redecorating/updating as although clean, it didn't look as clean as it should. Also would have liked a fridge in the room to keep drink and milk cold.

Have stayed here several times over many years, usually for work. Great location - a 2 minute walk from the beach. Friendly staff, cosy well stocked bar and nice restaurant serving a wide range of good food at reasonable prices. Rooms are basic and clean although some beds are due for an upgrade - the bathroom furniture is on the small side especially the shower and sink. Overall, a bit over priced but will probably return again in the future.

Friendly helpful staff. Largish room and shower. Huge bed. Tea and coffee supplies well filled. Decent hairdryer. Good food, nicely cooked. Evening meals at reasonable prices . Large car park, could walk to village and beach, Quiet.

Plug holes needed cleaning out as water slow to run away, a but worried the shower might overflow!! Light need in semi walk un wardrobe. Difficult to see and husband hit his head on the top shelf!

The locals were so friendly and helpful. We were visiting my daughter in hospital and found it difficult to get there. So a lovely lady took us picked my daughter up and took us back to the hotel. Unfortunately we missed food, but there was a great fish n chip bar a short walk away and we were able to eat in the hotel restaurant.

It could have been warmer in the communal areas. Also, the breakfast was not hot, although plenty of choice. A very difficult place to traverse to from Blackpool. It took 18 hours to travel each way.

We know the Royal Hotel well and always enjoy our stay. The breakfast is always good and plentiful and nothings too much trouble. The location is great, a few minutes walk to the beach but quiet and value for money.

There was a slight mix up with the type of room booked and what we were initially given but this was soon rectified. As it was so cold, heating could have been on for arrival.

Loved this hotel. We had our two Dachshund puppies with us and they were made to feel welcome. Our room was lovely. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were all very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend 😊👍

The only problem we encountered was that we were on the 2nd floor so a few flights of stairs to go up with a dog cage. I couldn't recall seeing a lift anywhere. So next time will request a ground floor room 😊

Been before to place. Breakfast always very good and a plenty of choice from cereals to full english. lady in charge Nat very helpful always and attentive. Room was for our dog as well. all ok in room Had to put radiator on in evening as we had a cold weekend on coast.

No problem with place only the usual noisy other occupants banging doors early morning or late night. with no regard as usual to other occupants.
