This hotel seemed to be relatively new construction, so everything had a 'new' feel to it. It was very upscale, spacious, and clean. We were there for the second weekend of Oktoberfest, so it was absolutely a party atmosphere in the lobby area on Friday and Saturday nights! Within easy walking distance of a subway station, and bicycle rentals available for those inclined to use the excellent bicycle infrastructure in Munich.

We were there during the second weekend of Oktoberfest, so I am sure rooms were in very high demand. We rented the room as a triple, but it was a single room with a rollaway bed stuck between the Queen and the window. This meant things were a bit cramped for us. For what we paid, this seemed uncomfortable, but it was Oktoberfest. We had a blast, and did not spend much time in the room anyway.

Clean, modern & big rooms, pet friendly (10 euros a night) Check out is at 12 which is great if you need those extra hours in bed :) The underground is down the road and it is very cheap and easy to get to the centre of Munich (3-6 euros). An uber costs about 22 euros. This hotel is great value for money compared to other hotels in the centre of Munich over the Oktoberfest period. Good facilities. Also nearby cash points.

The car park is 1.9m and could not fit our landrover defender. There is a few spots outside but these are almost impossible to get unless you are extremely lucky. The bathroom just had one of those cheap shower all in one gel/shampoo pumps. The breakfast was not included in the price of our room and was expensive to add (26 euros I think per person)

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had a coffee machine, for me a necessity but mostly not available in Germany. We stayed here for the Adele concert which was a 30 minute Uber drive away. It has an Undergroud station nearby but we couldn’t be bothered. The hotel was also nearbij the Olympia shopping center. A good place to spend some time and eat something.

We had to ask for coffee and water everyday. IMO they should provide that when the room is cleaned! The second day they gave us the water we asked for, the third they said it wasn’t complementary and we had to pay for it. They gave it for free anyway. That was a but awkward.

all was fine and according to expectations. overall good value for the money. olympia park is near by and the hotel is close to the u-bahn.

Dinner way to expensive for what you get. Definitely overpriced. Also, the place misses a all day / bistro option. The food at the bar takes long time and is expensive. i am not paying that money for a sandwich or sausages. Also, I would note that the staff is very nice and helpful but when faced with non-standard questions they were a bit lost (example, I ordered Amazon items to the hotel prior my arrival .... and the staff did not know what to do at first, only after a senior member came everything was sorted out)

I'm strongly surprised with the negative comments written here for eonardo Royal Hotel Munich. This hotel deserves 5 stars based on modern facilitates, extremely cleanliness, spacious and elegant rooms, perfect bathroom and delicious breakfast with good variety. The reception staff is nice and helpful. The location is perfect as the hotel is located and quiet quarter adjacent to Olimpya Centrum, having metro stop adjacent, which takes 10 minutes to the city center/Mariaplatz and ca.12 minutes to Oktoberfest's field. We spend a short weekend during Oktoberfest in Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich but definitely come back in the near future!

Nothing, everything was perfect

It was such a great experience. Very friendly helpful staff ,all day long. Everyone we talked to was informative, helpful and very friendly. The hotel is very well situated next to Munich Olympia park where we attended a Taylor Swift concert. Despite of being very busy and filled with Swifties the hotel kept a brilliant organisation. The breakfast was exceptionally well staffed and everything was filled up to the kadt minutes of the opening time. There was never a moment when things stayed empty, and we had 3 breakfast , one very late one. Brilliant was the late night service after the concert with selling big Brezeln and pizza . Really great when you come hungry, vthirsty abd overall excited back. Nice qas the paper cut out of the atara coming bthis summer to Munich, so lots of pics taken with a cardboard Taylor.

There was nothing, as the first shock of the parking being ful was solves professionally with letting us park in every free corner of the parking garage. So absolutely happy with the service provided.

Stayed here in April 2011 when it had only been open a few months, so decided to stay here again in August 2024 for the Adele concert. Just as we remember it, nice foyer and public areas, nice rooms, sockets and wire/wireless charging connections in the room, tea and coffee, nice and wide variety selection at breakfast. Next to Olympic Park and a metro station. Good lighting, comfortable bed, decent storage.

Had a lot of connectivity issues with the wi-fi. On the third floor, above the breakfast end of the hotel, I really struggled maintaining a decent connection and couldn't load on my mobile or laptop a lot. The bathroom sliding door isn't very private, as it's sort of frosted. Only sparkling, albeit free, water was left in our rooms, which I thought was a bit odd as it's usually still. Outside areas didn't look great as a view, very overgrown and not that pretty.

Quite rooms, convenient location & tasty breakfast

The room was not cleaned properly .. there was a forgotten sock in the corner of the room when we first checked in. There was a sofa bed that was too big and bulky placed in the room in place of bed side table which was also inconvenient. We booked 3 rooms the least they could have done is keep us on the same floor even if its not possible to keep us next to each other. The breakfast coffee machine was only available our first day due to the convention then it was removed the breakfast coffee provided was not as available and the staff were too busy to tend to our coffee all the time

The location of the hotel is close by to the metro station which is very convenient. Also, right across the hotel you can have your morning jogs in the Olympia park. As I could tell the location of the hotel was not in residential area it was more an area where most of the hotels are located. There is no crowds and not a busy area at night - which leaves the impression of very safe and calm neighborhood. The room was quite nice, modern and spacious for a hotel room. It even provided an option for wireless fast charging. A nice touch was that in the room there was a bottle of water and coffee machine so you can have an early coffee in the morning. I believe that the room could have been a little bit cleaner as some towels and bed sheets had stains on them.

The staff is very helpful and kind. The interior design of the hotel is quite pretty. There were lots of professionals staying there, maybe because of the nearby corporations. The hotel is quite near the BMW Museum, about 10mins by car. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, but you need to be careful with the large windows, don't forget to close the curtains or people from other rooms can see you. Breakfast is very good with a large variety. The Wi-Fi works pretty well especially if you need to do meetings.

The hotel is quite distant from the city center, so you need to take this into account if you plan to do tourism, but I felt that considering the quality of the rooms and comfort, it's worth the distance.
