Great location, easy to find although google maps is slightly inaccurate they have plenty of road signs, Very nice lounge and real heating with radiator in the room, Well appointed bathroom and good shower, although a grab handle would be a good addition. Comfortable and adequate Wi-Fi. Very friendly and helpful owner although it helps to have some Italian. Lovely views over Piazza Armerina and the Duomo and it would be a treat to stay in summer sitting on their terraces, regrets we stayed in January and it rained all the time, but it was very cozy chilling in the room.

The breakfast was good by Italian standards, but fresh squeezed juice would have made it A+ and also a better fruit selection.

The exceptional host, Luciano, was warm and friendly and very happy to please. The inn is cozy and has an exceptional view of Piazza Armerina. We enjoyed having a delicious breakfast with the other guests. The inn is a short drive to Piazza Armerina which is a delightful small town with lots of character, including a beautiful theater and duomo. It was a special experience interacting with Sicilians, both at the inn and the town. This was a great spot to enjoy both Villa Romana Casale and Agrigento temples. We will return!

This "home" is the owner's labor of love. It's clear he enjoys meeting people, and welcoming them into his world. The home is older, so you have to like older places. It has a lot of character, and reminded my husband and me of our grandparents' homes many years ago. The eating room, set with several big tables, is welcoming, with a variety of CDs to choose from in a nook. You definitely get the feeling of what it would be like to live in that home, along with the second best part of the home itself: the view.

Everything was SUPERB! The casa has great location with great view and convinient parking. But also the casa itself is great equiped with teastefull furniture and wall paintings and everything!! It's like visiting friends house and being guest, they made us feel very wellcomed. And the owners are so friendly and they offer us wellcome drinks with anyhthing we like from the fridge. I don't remember when was the last time I felt so wellcomed. Thank you. And you did great job with the house, all looks great and it's super functional.

This was a great place to stay! We arrived a bit late, but Luciano was waiting to get us settled in our very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a feast of fruit, cheese, croissants, fresh coffee, and more. All this was enjoyed in the beautiful dining room which overlooks the old town and cathedral. It was a short drive to town for dinner, and was equally easy to get to the local historic sites. The town itself is not very special, but this place made our stay feel really special.

Luciano is a consummate host who cares about the happiness of others in his home. He went the extra mile to organize my transfer to/from the bus station as well as a trip to see the mosaics. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful in spite of a full house. He cultivates a neighborhood vibe with his friend squad and invited me to join them for an aperitivo they were preparing at the fireplace. Stunning panorama of the city from the dining room and terrace. I appreciated the savory breakfast corner with cheese and cured meat. The environment in the bedroom was very clean and comfortable enough, albeit lived-in. Private bathroom was sparkling clean with ample warm water. I appreciated the radiant heat in the bathroom and room. Everything works throughout the house. Yes, I would absolutely return to this property.

Some furniture is due for an upgrade. In some instances, simple re-arrangement of the furniture (or removal of some pieces) to enhance comfort and use-ability would do wonders.

If you are looking for, maybe one of the best views, ever, of Piazza Armerina then this is the place! Overall I'd say this was a great property, private parking, walkable (if you like a long walk, which I do) to Piazza Armerina and not far from Villa Romana Del Casale. The host was great, the place is definitely a bit eclectic and dated but there was plenty of space, everything was pretty clean, there was a nice breakfast I didn't really stay to enjoy and other very friendly guests.

Beautiful, comfortable old Sicilian country house 2 km outside of Piazza Amerina with a fabulous view of the duomo across the valley. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is wonderful, including fresh croissants, meat, cheese, eggs, fruit and other options. Luciano is a gracious, attentive and charming host. In fact all the staff is wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.

It’s a little ways out of town and we found it somewhat challenging to get to. But we’re older and have become nervous drivers.

Thanks to the panoramic view from the breakfast table and the beautiful music played on the turntable. Apart from the regular stuff, fresh fruits from the garden were also available. Luciano made special long coffee for us which was awesome. + Room was nice too, with a beautiful view from the balcony. + Safe and free parking available in the premises. + Short drive to the Villa Romana del Casale. + Luciano was very helpful, even when we had some problems and also in planning our sight seeing activities there. (Actually, everyone there was super nice.) + Atmosphere is totally homely and very comfortable here. This place truly enhanced our experience of Sicily, we wish we stayed longer!

At the time of booking, we already knew that this place is slightly away (30min walk) from the center of the town. We chose it for the safe parking. (For us this is actually no negative as we thoroughly enjoyed the view from this place. There are possibilities to drive and park in the town area as well but we chose to walk.)

Fantastic atmosphere. It was like staying with good friends. The host is very warm, welcoming and generous. Spacious yet cozy room, with a balcony that overlooked the sunset. Charming, character filled, spotless home. Great breakfast with a spectacular view! I especially appreciated having the use of the kitchen. The spontaneous dinners with the host and other guests will never be forgotten! Truly a special place.

The only thing I didn't like was having to leave!
