Staff were welcoming and helpful. Good size rooms. Clean. Hot water in shower. Nice to have breakfast included, which was good. Lovely surroundings from the back of the hostel.

Pillow was very flat but ok. Shelf would be helpful by top bunk. The other top bunk in the room had one, mine didn't. The area from metro stalingrad was not great. Worth noting that you can take metro to ricquet and the walk from there is a little more busy, so a better option as a female alone at night.

Nice big family room and en-suite - all very clean - good and generous breakfast - quiet and near the Gare du Nord which was what we needed - good value for money and we liked having access to a kitchen. Also nice to look out on so much green in Rosa Luxembourg Park which is directly behind the hostel.

The shower was mostly cold. We managed to cook in the kitchen but it was a bit tricky because there weren't many pans and there was a serious lack of crockery - could only find 2 dinner plates for the 5 of us !

It’s very nice looking, very easy to check in and out, the staff is king and the food and drinks are good quality. The rooms are clean and well arranged. For the price is a very good option.

The location, not easy to get to. The bathrooms leave a bit to be desired as sadly some people are just a bit careless. The beds and pillow are very uncomfortable, but for the value they’re okay.

If you're on a tight budget this is probably the best accomodation you'll find in Paris. Rooms are clean, wide, very warm and sound-proof, common bathrooms + showers very well kept and you even get a basic but satisfying breakfast included in the price. Position isn't very central but close to metro nr. 12. Would definitely stay again.

Wifi works well but having to constantly log in every hour or so is slightly uncomfortable. Also getting denied an extra slice of cheese (max 2 per person) at breakfast is quite odd, I do understand that they want to avoid food waste and try to keep the booking price as low as possible but still, thats a bit rude.

Nice staff willing to help. I asked to swich a bed up for a bed down due to I was going to stay 5 nights and they helped me. That's really appreciated. They have dinner until 11 pm (sandwich mosly) and a cool bar next to reception. Good breakfast for this price, fullfilling. Comfortable bed and pillow. Sinks and shower inside the shared room. They have a shared kitchen but is locked sometimes (I didn't use it, so I don't know the schedule or rules for this). Big lockers inside the room that work and feel really safety. Also they have a luggage room with big lockers just for €2, really cheap. Regardless of other reviews the neighborhood is ok (I mean It's a district far away from downtown, of course It's not a fancy area). I felt safe all my stay and I didn't have any security problem. Clean place and nice atmosphere in general.

There are no shelters or something to hang up your towel or something to put the soap, shampoo, .. It would be comfy to have it and water flows really hot somethings, there's no temperatute control

Metro is near by, but a lot of strange people hanging around metro. Near hostel all fine, just need to cross that metro part quickly

Easy to walk from Gare du Nord. Large clean family room - lots of space for luggage & 2 adults & 2 teenagers. Separate toilet & shower room. Bar area for a drink in the evening. Luggage store. Warm room (we were there in Jan) Breakfast was basic - croissant, roll and a yoghurt and couple of other bits.. But for convenience and price, it was ok. Overall thought it was a great option for a budget stay. No frills but clean, friendly, comfy & convenient location.

shower on a timed button which i don't mind but it was not possible to keep a constant temperature and the shower curtain didn't keep water away from rest of shower room!

The stay at Auberge de Jeunesse HI Paris Yves Robert was overall pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hostel was clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the convenience of having elevators, and our room with a bunk bed was cozy and comfortable. It was warm, and we enjoyed the privacy of having the room to ourselves. The hostel itself provided a good experience, especially if you’re focused on a clean and welcoming place to stay.

However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The shower didn’t allow us to adjust the water temperature, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the location felt a bit unsafe. Walking from the metro to the hostel, we encountered unsettling groups of migrants and homeless people. It’s definitely not an area to explore at night.

I stayed three nights in a 3-bed room and was fortunate to have the whole room for myself. The bed was very comfy and even with other beds occupied it'd be spacious enough. There was a sink and a shower in the room which was handy. The toilet outside in the corridor but I find it OK especially when you share a room with others - no noise or smell. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's a store room to keep your luggage after check out. Breakfast was included

The breakfast was of poor quality and the selection was modest. The area does not feel safe with lots of youth hanging out in groups and especially the area by the metro station is full of shady people.

The hostel is beautiful, well maintained, a plus to their terrace smoking area, their bar in lobby. The room was quite spacious, and the shower inside makes things easier. There could be more hangers in the shower to put more clothes, also a place to leave the shower gel, as it must stay in the floor while showering. The safe in the room is big and fits a large luggage piece. The black out curtains give comfort to the sleep.

The check out is very early compared to other hostels. 10 am hasn't even finished the breakfast time and you need to run away. The breakfast was not good either, but it is included so I didn't have high expectations.
