The grounds are nice and they have the buildings sited in such a way that the highway noise (highway is right next to the hotel, tho is raised there) was not an issue for me. Nice to have a bar and restaurant right at the hotel and was open 11am-9pm or so. The food was good. There is also a very nice pool. The staff mostly spoke english. Breakfast was very good too

Have tónica for gin and tonics. :-) Its 2 km away from town so a bit far to walk but could get a taxi Otherwise all was good

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful. Breakfast exceeded expectations with self-service fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, cereal, coffee, and juice AND a cooked Costa Rican breakfast with gallo pinto (rice and beans), eggs, and more. We had to rush for an early flight and they served us the fresh, hot breakfast less than 5 minutes after we sat down. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport (20 minute drive) and it worked perfectly. Pool looked lovely, though we didn't use it. WiFi was strong enough to support streaming a few sporting events on the TV

The hotel is located a bit away from the town center, so walking there or even to restaurants was not an easy option. But we knew that when we booked, so it was fine.

This hotel and staff turned out to be perfect! Great price with breakfast included. Staff were excellent and very accommodating as we were stranded for 6 days with storm. Lovely grounds and large pool and pergola. Rooms are not fancy but clean and comfortable. They are working on refurbishment. Easy uber or walk to eateries or downtown if you prefer ride. Perfect spot to wait out storm!

I had a layover for one night before a connecting flight. The pool was fantastic, the dinner and the complimentary breakfast were plentiful and tasty. The shower was strong and hot. The room was much bigger than I thought. The location was south of Liberia so I didn’t get to see the town. The distance from the airport was no greater than if I had stayed in town. The drivers knew the location. I would go back. It was tremendous.

It was absolutely perfect.

This is an older but well-maintained property on the highway just south of town. I found it to be quite comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was good not great with individually prepared hot dishes, and a small selection of beverages and bread products: just adequate. The property has an in-house dinner and bar as well, which had a good selection such that there was no need to travel up to town for meals. Rooms are large, deluge hot shower.

No complaints other than the front desk staff obvious gouging on things, I had them call a taxi service and she quoted me $25 to the airport whereas I paid $15 when arriving, clearly she called a family or friend and he got out and went in to pay her a piece of the fare. Sleazy but it’s common here and elsewhere.

The property was beautiful! The room was spacious and clean. I loved the atmosphere and the nice pool. It was very quiet which was very much needed after a week in Tamarindo. Perfect way to finish my trip to Costa Rica. The food at the restaurant on property was also very good. The staff was amazing, especially Luis!

Convenient location

No refrigerator in room. Noisy A/C, had to ask for an alternate room. Rooms are dated. Breakfast items not available because staff are short ordering food items. Previously they had coffee machines in rooms. Now, not so. It appears they are on cost saving measures but at highest prices for Liberia.

Very clean and relaxing. The pool was refreshing and the room was clean and comfortable. We ate dinner and it was very good. Breakfast had everything you would want including cooked to order eggs.

Location of this hotel was just off the main road and nothing else is around so your stuck at the hotel. It's a quick ride to the airport at a cost of around $40.00 US

The staff were very nice and welcoming. They helped me book a taxi for the next morning. The pool area and outdoor gardens are nice. The restaurant is pretty good. The rooms inside are basic, beds are ok enough, fine for a night's stay. It's a good place for one night before an early morning flight the next day.

I already knew before hand that there wasn't much else around and that's why I chose this hotel. I wanted somewhere where I didn't have to potentially listen to city noises when I had to go to bed early. So that is something to warn others mainly who might not like that 🤷‍♀️

The staff were very friendly and helpful, a special shout out to Luis at the front desk. He was very helpful and patient with a couple of tired travelers and answered all our questions.

The rooms are very dated. That said, the room was clean and provided all your basic needs.
