Location is excellent

Heater in bedroom next to bed. Found the room very hot. We’re from Canada so we’re more used to the cold

This was an old-style hotel, reminiscent of most of Gibraltar. It was very colonial, but very nicely appointed, and perfect for my stay. The staff were incredibly good, and could not have been more helpful. Friendliness was the key, and they went out of their way to do as much for me as they could, ev en when I asked for some special timing with laundry for example = quick service. They complied very happily.

Breakfast was a little basic, but perfectly filling and a good start to the day.

Great location. The Main Shopping street is just around the corner. Wi-Fi connection inside the hotel building works excellent. Rooms are a bit with old style furniture but everything is well maintained and usable. There is also carpet all over the floor, in the room and outside the room. In the room there is also a little fridge available and the bathroom well maintained. Interesting TV channels with all sort of documetaries and good movies available moslty in English.

The breakfast is very poor. Some cereals, boiled eggs, yougurt, bread, salami or ham and slices of cheese. Coffee and tea is of poor quality too. You also have do notify at the reception desk a day in advance if you are interesrted to have breakfast the next morning. Also you must pay for it and the price you pay doesn't worth for the quality you get. You'd better save your money and find somewhere else to eat outside the hotel facilities. They have a quite annoying rule, asking you to leave the key at the reception desk each time you leave the hotel. Then you must ask for your key each time you wish you enter your room.

Extremely comfortable bed, very clean , large rooms with a spacious shower. Everything that you may need is provided, from slippers to toothbrush and toothpaste. Air conditioning worked well and the smart TV, speaker in the shower and mood lights were an added bonus. Even though the area is very busy and lively, the room was still quiet. There is a large covered balcony with seating.

Everything was lovely about our stay

Rooms were well appointed, very comfortable and cleaned every day. The beds were comfortable and towels changed every day. Ample breakfast choices and lovely dining room. Hotel location was perfect for us in the old part with main shopping area close by plus plenty of bars and restaurants.

The only thing that comes to mind is there could be tea/coffee making facilities in the room but as we always take a travel kettle with us it’s not a big deal. Also a bath Mat would be helpful especially with the older generation as baths can be slippery when getting out.

The staff were really lovely. Could not of been more helpful. Our stay was a last minute thing after my husband took ill at the airport so we were unable to fly home. I was on my own with my daughter and they were very kind to us.

The property is a little tired although it’s a lovely building. However, if you’re aware of that and looking for something in the best location with absolutely wonderful staff then it’s a good choice. I would stay here again for a short break.

The staff are do helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.they go the extra mile fantastic.room was spotless. They clean everyday . Pool was lovely and very relaxing. Ideal location actually best location for town,bars,restaurants. It's a bit outdated and rooms need modernising however it's clean and we only slept there and wS out all day. Will definitely be back again.

The main street which is partially pedestrianised is 50 yrds turn left out the front door. it runs all the way down to the "casemates" which is a square full of resturants and as it is a British based Island the language is never a problem. There is so much to see including the graveyard of the dead from the battle of trafalga, cable cars to the rock summit.

I had a hired car and the wait to cross the border was a bit of a wait. They never told me that they have finished the new road under the runway, before you drove accross the runway.

Everytime we go to Gibraltar we stay at the Bristol. It’s in a great location for the main high st, bars and restaurants. The pool area is never too busy when we visit and the water in the pool is heated. The bar is super cheap for drinks and the staff are so friendly. You feel like you’re stepping back into the 1970s as it hasn’t changed in all that time, it’s quirky but the rooms are clean and functional for the weekends we stay.

As the rooms are in need of a bit of love there’s no air con. There is a fan but in Gibraltar heat, it’s still quite warm and noisy when trying to sleep with it on. Shower is more of a dribble than a shower due to water pressure but we know what to expect when we stay.

The room had a full bath with a tub, an unexpected luxury after climbing hills. Perfect location, just off Main Street. Desk staff were very helpful and personable. Understated hunt club decor. There was a pool but it was still a little chilly for swimming.

Not much of a view from my room; it overlooked the central area which was full of construction debris. And some of the electric wall outlets did not function, making charging my cell a bit of a challenge.
