Fabulous location. Lovely little balcony to sit on & enjoy the view & activity on the water. Option to cook with well equipped kitchenette was good. The beach umbrella was much appreciated.

The rubbish bins were outside the front door, some without lids and used by businesses nearby. . Waste management is more a Sicily issue than the apartment issue.Occasionally, the noise from restaurants below went on late. Minor issue - should have communal toiletries & new kitchen cloths on every occasion. Agent quickly provided the latter when asked.

You could not ask for a better location. You walk out the door and are a few yards from great restaurants and sight seeing. The room was very clean and modern. The chairs at the table could have been a big more comfortable, but you aren't in your room much here. The windows were very good at blocking sound, but remember, you are in a very dense city with services that pick up pretty early in the morning.

If you are not experienced with renting units in this type of pedestrian location it can be a bit stressful to drop off, park, and check-in. I think a paragraph explaining it in a bit more detail can help ease the process. Like, there is a small area you can pull over to drop your bags on the narrow streets where you can call and get buzzed in, then in the car you can follow that street around the peninsula to city parking which costs 15 Euro per day, the walk back is 15 minutes through the beautiful town. When you call our number at xxx where we will buzz you into the front door, then again into our suite space, then again into your room where you will find a card key that will give you access to all three. Once you are there, though, it is amazing!

We had a fabulous stay in this property. The location is amazing- such a view! It was close to everything- restaurants, bars, shops, places of interest. The host Jessica couldn't have been more helpful. She organised a taxi for us when we were leaving, and organised a place to leave our luggage for a few hours. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and even though it was compact it had everything we needed.. And a view!!

Location was superb. Very large condo but without kitchen (some of hers have kitchen.) . Comfy. Very good AC. Host was very helpful and responsive, though she works mostly remote. We had the city street view balcony, which was fine, but some street noise. Her sea views are better.

No lift and there were 20 steep narrow stairs. They do not make up the room except between guests.

Fantastic location looking over the Bay and right close to all the sights and sounds of Ortigia. We had the room with the balcony and friends took the room overlooking the street . All four could sit overlooking the water . Perfect. Breakfast bars and 2mins away , kitchen area is very well equipped. shower worked well and all of a high standard.

We didn’t mind but others might find the parking , which is a good 15 minutes away , a problem. Likewise the apartment is up a long narrow flight of steps so large small cases and a bit of fitness may be a problem for some. None of these things detracted for us as you can hover outside to drop off/ pick up and the host is very well organised .

The property was very secure and right in the heart of Ortigia. Convenient to everything. And you really can’t beat the view!

Dance music from 9a until midnight every night. A little much. The ac wasn’t working but we didn’t take the time to call her. I’m sure she would have helped. The shower is very small!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the balcony was exquisite - an excellent place to have a nice dinner while watching the sunset. The room was clean and well maintained. Also, Jessica was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great too if you're planning to spend time in Ortigia.

The street below the apartment can get a little noisy, especially during meal times, but this is expected given the number of dining places there. Closing the windows alleviates this.

This room is perfectly situated right on the bay, and above nice restaurants. It's bright and clean. Communication with Jessica was great and she was waiting for us when we got out of our taxi. We were afraid it might be too noisy to go to sleep as it's above the restaurants, but that was not an issue at all. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

We liked everything about Panorama Alfeo!

The room was almost perfect. It is actually as it looks on the picture. Very spacious, clean and bright. Great WiFi. Helpful host. The air conditioning of the room is great - you can make it warm or cool with it, whatever you want. Good shower. Location is simply amazing: you're staying in the heart of the old town of Syracuse, just one minute walk from Fonte Aretusa. Honestly, if I am back to Siracuse, I won't hesitate to stay here again (but probably will pick a room with the sea view for a change).

Unfortunately, great location means noise from the street. There is traffic noise, as well as noise from people enjoying themselves at the restaurants and cafes nearby. But hey, this is what is expected. The room windows take away the noise slightly but it can't help completely. It will be hard for a sound sleepers, so better to use ear-plugs.

The apartment is perfectly nestled between Castello Meniace and Fonte di Aretusa. They are both a few steps away from the doorstep. It's walking distance to all points of interest, there are lovely restaurants and cafeterias right outside the door, and the view is to die for ! The host, Jessica, was amazing. She communicated very well before and during the stay. The apartment is equipped with anything one could need on a short stay. It is perfect!
