The price was good for the quality of room. We had a king room and the bed was massive. Room was clean. Mini fridge is nice to have. Staff when we checked in were very friendly and answered all of our questions.

There was a large event going on downstairs which was quite noisy so I wish we would have known this before booking. It did end early enough though that it didn't bother us or impact our sleep. Our friends booked the same room and when we visited them we found their room was much larger (better layout) than ours; I wish we could have picked between layouts to have a bit more walking room.

I never knew there was breakfast. I would have liked to know that.

I found that it was extremely long walk to our room. I would have appreciated being let know there were other elevators closer to our room. I also found the rise in middle of hall carpets most disconcerting and almost lost balance a couple of times.

Renovations were underway —which was totally understandable. Some noisy fellow guests were being loud outside front entrance and in their room. Noise travels. But staff were courteous. Pool needs a little work perhaps. Access to excellent on-site restaurant/bar: Firestone

I'm in hotels every week for past many years and pillows seem to be difficult item in most places. I've been to this facility a few times and will return when in the area so my apologies for this report as the bed was good but pillows are lumpy and firm in most rooms I've stayed.

Good location for my purposes. Room was nice and spacious.

Should have a separate fan/light in the bathroom. I received an email from The Coast after booking reminding me of the COVID protocols and that I was required to "show my VAX papers". This is so far outdated it is kind of ridiculous.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to the " Spitz " ball field. Great restaurant and bar, all the servers were friendly and chatty. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker good.

The room was quite small and the pillows lumpy. A ' musty ' smell when we arrived, but opened the window and all was good. Housekeeping didn't replace tea bags or paper coffee cups. Didn't like paper coffee cups.

The location is great, 5 minute walk to the ball field, right on main street so great access to shops and eateries. The on site pub / restaurant is EXCELLENT.

The bathrooms are tiny and rooms a bit dated, Had to ask for coffee / tea as housekeeping only done by request.

Loved how hot the hot tub was. Pool was a slight chilly but then you just do 10 to 15mins in each and rotate and you're fine. Only other thing was the walk back to the hotel in towel was a little wierd because the pool is closer to the restaurant than the rooms. It's my second time staying here and I would again

The amenities were good. Love Firestone.

Cigarette smoke and cannabis smoke smells came into our room both nights from outside. We were on ground level. There was some dust behind bedside tables, but otherwise quite clean.

The room was spacious, and was the best value for money we’ve spent on a hotel in a long while. Very clean, no weird smells. The ballroom where the wedding we were attending was held is absolutely gorgeous. All around a really enjoyable stay!

If I had to be nit picky, the carpets can be dizzying, but that’s just a design choice.
