The room was great we loved the view and the facilities themselves were great!

This issue has been remedied! But it did take a while We got charged for parking for three days and only used the parking garage one day. We told staff multiple times going in and out and we were still charged after our stay. It took some back and forth to get a refund but in the end the fix was relatively easy just frustrating. Otherwise overall everything was great

Breakfast was convenient and varied each day; staff was quite pleasant and extremely helpful, bed was comfortable and we felt well rested, we enjoyed the shuttle to the State Fair, visiting the bridges of Madison County, and meeting many wonderful people of Iowa. We found publications from the Iowa Bureau of Tourism a real help in planning our trip.

The only thing that would have made our visit more enjoyable was to spend more time in Des Moines. A dining room in the hotel would be a welcome addition.

The breafast was very good. Nearby restaurants provide other meals. The room was comfortable and clean, spacious and well-furnished. Very comfortable. Parking is convenient, although not a bargain.

I'd suggested having a second set of curtains for added privacy, especially on the window next to the bed. The coffee maker in the room seemed to have a part missing, so it couldn't be used.

the room we had was super spacious. Very clean. the staff was very friendly and truly cared about their visitors. My sugar had dropped and lady behind the desk took care of purchasing the items I got herself. These simple gestures go along ways in my book. The breakfast had a true “home cooked” feel to it as the food serving area was not in steamers and ice - but in nice cookware which I’m assuming instead of adding food to it- this allows them to keep the food fresher by switching the pans out completely. There’s access to the skywalk which was great as we were going to Wells Fargo.

The only thing that I could possibly say and it couldn’t be changed - the parking lot across the street was quite small - if you have a larger vehicle it is a pretty tight fit.

Nice big rooms.Very clean facility. Great breakfast, nice variety and very appealing. All staff were so pleasant and very friendly and helpful.

Only 1 working elevator. Limited parking in garage because of downtown location... But hotel is connected to Skywalk and that's a huge plus!

1. there was no microwave in my room, i expected to use it as i was staying for 3 nights. 2. everywhere in google, booking.com, it clearly shows airport shuttle facility will be provided. however realized at last minute after calling the front desk, it was not the case. 3. shower head had super slow water flow in every setting.

Room was a nice size. Asked for another blanket and it was promptly delivered. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. You should really make sure people know about the sktwalk. It was a big plus with the cold weather.

I could have used another trash can in the bedroom rather than just in the bathroom. The fact only one elevator worked when I came back from concert was frustrating.

Location was perfect for us. Breakfast was great! Front desk staff very helpful when we had questions. Bed was very comfortable

The bathroom shower was leaking water around the door, would leave water all over the floor. Lots of mildew on the tiles and around shower pan

The hotel was right in the middle of downtown and not convenient to bring in luggage and walking the dog, not convenient for the dog to go to the bathroom

Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Parking was an issue, if you return late. Cleaning of the rooms while occupied could have been better. Other than that , very pleasant stay.
