Location is excellent. The room is clean and the pillows and bed were comfortable.

The restaurant and room service start at 8 and 9 AM. This was inconvenient as I had to travel earlier and I could not have even a cup of coffee, but it looks like this is normal in almost all restaurants in Puebla.

Location, pleasing style of deco and structure, comfortable beds, clean inside and out.

No AC or cool air flow system to keep room cool during the night; had a fan, but wasn’t enough, plus added noise. cold shower of 10 minutes before warm water kicked in. Had a very pleasant conversation with lobby receptionist during a phone call before the line was disconnected; then, later tried to connect again, and it was a different receptionist not too polite regarding transportation manners to the hotel.

The property is literally around the corner from the Zócalo. I loved every single thing about the location. Our room did NOT have AC and it was a bit warm but thankfully it rained that evening so we got to sleep with the window open and get some fresh air. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The property definitely has a colonial feeling to it and its beautiful.

There was no AC but they did have a fan we were able to use so it helped a bit!

The location is the best in the city and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet. Amazing view.

No air conditioning, breakfast buffet was very expensive for what you get.

At first they wanted to place us in an ugly room With not view until I showed my reservation and then I received a room with balcony. Front desk was not too friendly or welcoming.

From the two rooms booked one of them ran out of hot water which was resolved the next day. In the other room we had a clogged toilet, informed the front desk but nothing was done later in the day informed front desk again. We were given the plunger to resolve the issue ourselves.

I had stayed here before a few years ago and my experience was less than stellar. I booked the hotel this time by mistake because something has changed in the name...I think! My experience this time was much better! The location was just about the only thing I liked about this hotel the first time around. Again, I loved the location. Last time I got an interior room with no windows except to the main corridor, and also had a VERY strong moldy smell that remained in my clothes and luggage for weeks afterwards! My room was also across the atrium from the ballroom and there was a very loud party in there well into the wee hours of the morning! Sleeping was impossible! NEVER, EVER accept an "Interior" room at this hotel! This time, I got a room looking out over the main street and the city center park. My experience was MUCH better! I was on the 3rd floor (segundo piso) and the street noise was minimal. The room had a balcony and a full sliding door which let me control the air and temperature in the room to some degree!

The front desk staff where less than cordial but got their job done. Extremely impersonal and standoffish with no attempt at any kind of amiable customer service, not even eye contact... Room staff was very friendly.

The music at breakfast was great however they do not need a speaker as it was too loud when dining - have the group perform without the speaker as the room is too small

The location and value for money were fantastic. The room was basic but comfortable and very clean.

There was almost no water-pressure in the shower. It was like walking under a dripping sink.

Conveniently located, helpful staff, clean, reasonable price. I loved that this is a building with hundreds of years of history.
