We loved how comfortable the beds were and how personable the staff was. They were very helpful and friendly. They offered breakfast, just a very basic one, but most places don't do even that anymore.

The place smelled a little musty and was in need of some repair. Overall, it wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Not to mention the mystery stains all over the carpet both upstairs and downstairs. Also, obviously not the hotels fault, but our neighbors were EXTREMELY loud. Both nights we stayed there, we were woken up after 11pm by the loud banging of the visitors next door. We were surprised because there was a "contract" that was signed upon check-in that said after 10 pm, that was to be quiet hours. Clearly, that isn't enforced.

The property was conveniently located and impressively clean.

The evening we arrived it was chilly the heat/air conditioning unit did not warm the room. My husband and I spoke to Holly at the front desk she said she would see if she could get it the unit to function. We left to have dinner and meet with family. We were in town for a difficult wake and funeral. We returned to find the heat/air unit still not functioning properly and chose to shut it off. The shower took some effort to adjust, super cold to super hot. Over all I was disappointed even knowing the motel is older. We also had workers at the rear of the room working on the gutters at 8am. We were up but it was annoying for nearly an hour.

The staff is excellent. They are helpful, friendly, and efficient. We stayed in the deluxe suite with our family and found it spacious, well laid out, and very clean. Having both an indoor and outdoor pool was especially nice as we brought a young child, and the play area in back was nice, particularly the corn hole game. We also enjoyed having the continental breakfast--it's convenient not having to go out each morning to eat, and coffee was available throughout the day.

Renovations on things that were somewhat dated--carpets, furniture, etc.-- would be great.

Convenient location between Lake George and Queensbury with immediate access to restaurants and Outlets. 5 minutes in any direction puts you in a new area with their attractions. Room was adequate for price, however, upgrade rooms are available. Beds were comfortable. Air Cond worked well. Water was slow getting up to temp but worked fine. Found other guests had been coming for years and liked the facilities. Will likely use again

Water temp was slow to come up for washing. Breakfast was continental which was adequate. Restaurants are close.

The Mohican is a charming little resort with clean rooms and facilities along with a wonderful front desk staff. The room, while a little dated, was very clean and comfortable. My family stayed in one of the condo units with a kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was nice, but lacking any cooking utensils/pots pans etc. if you plan on doing any actual cooking. The pools and game room were clean and the grounds well maintained. We will definitely look forward to staying in the future.

The only real issue was the AC layout in the condo unit we stayed it. It had only one wall unit in the main area and nothing in the actual bed rooms. They did provide a large box fan to help circulate the AC, but if we had not already also brought our own fans it would have been quite uncomfortable in the bedrooms.

Although the rain hindered our activities the indoor pool and pool table were well used. in between rain drops the kids were also playing pickle ball and using the playground. The arcade was small but still the kids enjoyed it. the overhand made it possible for us to sit outside and watch the rain.

rooms were small for the amount of people we had. said it sleeps 5 but it was pretty tight with that amount of people.

We had a 2 story condo room (2 bedroom 2 baths) with balcony. Unusual for a motel and perfect for 4 adults, almost feels like an old 60s-built garden apartment in a good way, with each unit having its own door to the outside. Very well maintained rooms and grounds with excellent attentive staff. Lots of families and everyone was friendly.

If you like the way modern hotels are being built today-- 4-5 stories, windows that don't open, use your phone instead of a key, etc.--then this place is not for you. But if you hate that and prefer a good value for well maintained retro, this is a great option. Breakfast is only good for grab and go (cereal, coffee, yogurt, OJ). But that's OK because there are great options in the area. Owners are little by little replacing dated carpeting with hard flooring, but as of summer 23 they still had a ways to go.

Location! Easy to get to, indoor and outdoor pool options. Price for room, breakfast, staff very kind.

It was dated and needs minor maintenance but the price, location, phenomenal staff by far outweighed any negative.

It's become a family tradition to stay at least one weekend during the summer at the Mohican. We feel very comfortable there largely due to the owners and staff.. we only met the front desk manager this visit but she was very nice and helpful. Love the pool area..kids enjoyed arcade and kids were so happy that they were given a separate room with their own tv and ac( wasnt sure by looking at itinerary. We will see you again soon.

Just minor cosmetic issues in the room..easily corrected I'm sure...

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. My children really enjoyed the outdoor and indoor pools, and there is also a game room with a pool table and a decent, little fitness area. The location is excellent to enjoy all that Lake George has to offer.

A little more selection for breakfast would have been nice.
