No bond required which is a rare find. The gentleman at reception allowed us to store our luggage early before checkin while we went to have lunch at the plaza next door. Wendy the reception lady gave us amazing customer service, she provided a luggage trolley for us and even pushed the trolley all the way to our room:) she also got a cloth to wipe our luggage down as we got caught in the rain! She was very caring and accomodating thank you Wendy! Loved the convenience of having a shopping mall next door and a few eateries outside; mcds hjs red rooster. Tavern as well. Good aircon in room. Lovely little continental breakfast boxes and x2 bottles of water in the fridge. Neat and tidy room. Clean. Comfy bed.

These are just minor and did not affect our stay, but just needed to be noted - upon entry in the bathroom there was half a toilet roll on the toilet roll holder as if the cleaner had forgot to put a new roll there. The toilet seat was also out of place on one side. Mould under the bathroom safety mat. Wear n tear noticed on shower railing. Also would have loved forks and knives but i think because it is not a cooking facility there was no need. Jst wouldve helped to chop fruit etc if you were to shop at supermarket. Best to buy your own if youre planning to make your own food.

The property is great value for money. It is close to the shopping centre and Tavern, so getting a meal is very easy and the breakfast packs are great for those on the go. The property was well presented and after hours check in and out was very easy. Was only a couple of extra minutes to get to work from where I normally stay, but was much higher quality at a lower cost.

If I was to criticise anything it would be the lack of blinds on the windows in the bathroom. Although it is not likely that someone will be able to see into the bathroom, it would just add an extra level of comfort.

Staff were lovely. Room was well equipped with everything I needed. Grounds were well maintained and clean. Room was very clean. A complimentary "on the go" breakfast is provided in the room. That is a nice touch. Nearby fast food options are a couple of hundred meters up the road, which is convenient. Aldi is a couple of K's away also to buy some food. No cooking facilities or restaurant.

I needed a knife to cut up my food, and only a spoon was in the room. No cloth or tea towel in the kitchenette to wipe up the dishes I use or wipe the bench.

Spacious room for our 4-night stay. The room was newly refurbished- sparkling new bathroom, freshly painted, nicely furnished. Glass brick windows provided good noise insulation and light (but no windows could be opened). Airconditioner was quiet and effective. Cleaning team were very efficient and the rooms and outdoor areas were spotless every day. Location next to the tavern and shopping centre was convenient. All ground level, parking at the door. Laundry (coin-operated) with two commercial washers and dryers.

No wifi, and therefore no tv. We couldn’t even get free-to-air tv except sometimes sbs which would go for about an hour before fizzling out.

Great location. Friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast and bottles water was very welcomed. Extremely comfortable bed. Great size room. Nice to have a couch to sit on and not just the bed all the time. I would definitely stay here again.

The room smelt like the previous occupants deodorant - the room could’ve been aired out a bit better. One of the washers was dirty. No tissues in the room.

The hotel management staff treated us like family from the moment we walked in the door, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our short stay. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed.

How easy everything was, as we are fat people the size of the bathroom was amazing, felt so good to not smash our knees on the door when one wants to shower and the other was using the loo, also the size of the room, as we were rc racing we have a lot of gear and the room allowed us to store it with lots and lots of space

The staff at the reception were very friendly and hospitable. They know how to break the ice and get you to settle in with little conversations. If you are someone who craves the tranquility of nature, I highly recommend you to stay at Shangri-la Garden.

My only recommendation for the hotel is to restore the restaurant as soon as possible.

We had 2 rooms and both were lovely and clean. Shops and restaurant were all within rang of walking distance. The only thing that let it down a little was the curtains didn't close enough at the top so the light from outside was very bright. We will definitely stay again.

The room was great loads of space and the bed was really comfortable. It is close to a shopping centre which is handy. And there is parking. The man at the front desk was lovely.

The photos are a bit misleading. The actual hotel doesn’t seem open anymore so you are just staying in the room so it’s more of a motel I guess
