My wife and I stayed in the "Le Charmant", which was true to it's name. The apartment is a tastefully renovated unit with a LOT of features including a fully functioning kitchen, induction stove and dish washing machine. The design blends modern elements with the original character of the building, very cozy vibes. It was perfect for our little weekend romantic getaway. We stayed there during one of the hottest days of the year (which peaked at 105 F / 40 C), and the unit was cool, even BEFORE we turned on the air conditioning (I suspect due to the insulating effect of the solid thick rock walls of the building). The unit is very easy to self check into thanks to the use of electronic access keypads, the host was very responsive. Would stay again, and would recommend to others if visiting Périgueux. The location was as central as it gets in the old quarter right near Saint-Front Cathedral.

Great position, remarkably quiet, considering it was so close to the city centre. Very Clean. We booked last minute and the owner was very accommodating. There was a dishwasher in a cupboard which wasn't really necessary for 2 people and the space it took up would have been more useful to store food etc. Other than that. It was great. We have stayed at these apartments before, only in a different one. Both have served our purpose and we would srsy again. Thank you.

I liked everything completely, it was very clean, comfortable and quiet, a very beautiful view from the outside, the Old Town is very beautiful. And there are no problems, if you want to find it, you can find it. Parking for a car is nearby. It’s even free, but since there was some kind of holiday there, the parking lot was all occupied. They didn’t finish parking the car. So I had to park the car a little further

I liked everything, everything was good.

The location. Convenient for the town and the river. The bed was comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Key code to get into the property and the apartment was very efficient and user friendly.

We were in the room two flights up a spiral staircase which is very tricky with heavy bags and bad knees. The shower room didn’t have a door, so if you like privacy when bathing this apartment is not for you.

Very happy with our stay. This is the 3rd apartment we have stayed in belonging to the l'échafaud group and once more we were not disappointed. Clean and confortable, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Easily accessible to the historic town centre on foot. Nothing to complain about. We will be back!!

The second time we have stayed and just as good as before. The perfect location for the lovely town centre. Immaculately fitted apartment. Considering the proximity to town, it is very quiet. Free parking nearby about 5 minute walk.

Not a problem for us but the stairs to the apartments are very steep and windy so would be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Comfortable bed and good shower. Tastefully decorated and perfect for a night or two stay. Loved being able to make a coffee. Very central to the town and we enjoyed being on the ground floor with a door we could open to let in the sunlight. Périgueux is à fabulous city with bars, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. We'll be back!

A unique experience - A medieval house in a medieval part of Périgueux. The exterior was meticulously restored and preserved while the comfortable interior has been ingeniously and beautifully modernized to create a quality guest experience.

The access system to the building was a bit challenging on the first try but just fine after.

We loved the location of the building, the room was right at the top of a spiral staircase. So it was a bit like climbing the mast of a ship to get to the studio. The studio was well equipped, including a dishwasher! It was quirky with floors slanting in several directions within the same room - it felt like being drunk on a ship in choppy seas! It was a great stay at the the end of our holiday.

It's a bit impersonal not having a reception desk, however it was all very well organised and easy to access the building with the key codes. Although there wasn't parking on site, there was a free car park very close by so we didnt struggle to park the car. Overall, a great stay - thank you!

I loved the location and convenience of this apartment. It was a small walk to the cathedral and main commercial streets of the city. I could pop out for breakfast and bring it back to the apartment. Great eating options nearby and a very convenient map was given to us in our info folder on arrival which excellent suggestions for eating, drinking and attractions. The apartment was kitted out with everything you'd need and very well designed to suit a couple.

The street that the apartment is on is a bit smelly but that's literally the only thing about the whole experience I didn't like. Our apartment was on the 2nd floor and the stairs are very narrow and windy but that suited us fine. It wouldn't suit someone with restricted mobility.
