The location and views are stunning. The location is the perfect way to relax and reset after a long drive. The cabin are clean and cozy. That also includes the bed, which allows a good night's sleep. You can tell that the cabins and facilities are well maintained and very hygienic. The food both dinner and breakfast were good too. We recommend the fish dishes as it was simple, fresh and delicious. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Overall a perfect stay and we would have stayed longer if we could.

I booked a hotel not far from this, but found it had been shut for a few years. Namsentunet were able to take my booking at very short notice or I was sleeping in the car that night, this area was the coldest I saw on my trip at -9c, I expected colder for February. The owners were chatty, as Nords go. Its a hunting lodge and many of the local catches are stuffed in the restaurant as is quite the fashion in the region, and this gave me my only chance to see a lynx.

But the room was too warm for us, the owner welcomed this comment as underfloor heating and ground pumps were new this year. There was no kettle but they supplied me with boiling water for my coffee pot. There is a train line overhead, and I did hear two but they didnt bother me. Their shower traps may have been empty as it smelled on arrival, its a bit of a problem in Sweden and Norway, the humidity is so low water evaporates fast opening up airways to sewers, but it did clear after I ran the shower and taps for a minute

Great location, so beautiful to wake up next to the river. Beds are comfortable. We had a two sleepover on our way from Oslo to Arctic circle.The food in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast as well. My husband enjoyed the salmon. I don’t eat meat and fish but they offered me a mushroom soup, baked potatoes and some salad. 😋

There is a rail track passing there and train os passing I believe one time late in the evening and one time early in the morning. This was not a problem for us, but for everyone else to consider.

Very pretty little group of cottages and rooms. Pretty dining/breakfast area. Nice staff. We hoping for a cabin with a deck but our room did have a lovely shared room with a great deck overlooking the river. Dinner choices were salmon, reindeer, elk and moose, which was interesting. Lovely breakfast buffet. Room was quite small but pretty with a private bath. Nice place to relax and I’m sure it’s great if you like to fish. The train tracks go directly over the property, which is interesting.

The area around is beautiful and the rooms are really nice. The people working here are also really nice, 10/10 for hospitality.

It is an hours walk away from the town, so unless you have a car or order a cab it could get a bit sketchy, as there are no sidewalks along the road. The road is also rather busy, so if you have an open window it could get annoying during the evening and night, as a lot of trucks drive by.

Wake up to the babbling brook, enjoy the morning view with a good breakfast. I understand they have salmon fishing right off the back porch when it is the season for it. Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff.

I was worried the train tracks would be a problem, but only a train came in the morning and we were waking up anyway.

Beautiful surroundings and buildings, comforable, clean room.

Best suited for groups as the rooms are rather small whereas the common facilities are huge. Not for people who'd rather see fishes well and alive as this is a fishing hub but at least you are warned.

It's good cabin to sleep for one nihgt, when you arrived in late evening. Basic breakfast but is enough. The Bed is soft. Good location.

HERO Internet connection. The Price could be a little bit lower for the cabin.

Nice location by the river. The restaurant food was excellent.

Definitely overpriced for the size of the room, you can hear others in the building
