The location was good, by the historical wharf, and about 10 minutes walk away from JR Kushiro station. The area around the hotel is populated by many small eateries and clearly near the entertainment district. The room was good, albeit old, by business hotel standards as expected from the Dormy Inn franchise.

There were only two slow elevators that served all floors. If the hotel was full (as it was when we stayed there), you would have to queue just to get to your room and other facilities. The front desk staff was cold but remained relatively professional throughout all interactions. It was clear they were not interested in giving a personal experience.

Great location and breakfast buffet has an excellent value (a lot of choices). Follow up service was really nice (We forgot something and they shipped them back us promptly - JPN address). Many different amenities are available too.

I can see that the hotel expects self-service Check-in/Check-out process by machine which I found a bit messy. I wish that Onsen floor is a bit more roomy - very tight space.

Hotel is clean with beautiful Onsen and lounge on the top floor overseeing the bridge. Breakfast is on the higher end but is worthy because it has a good spread of sashimi, ikura for making your own Kaisen don.

They only provide one pillow which is feather type and is too flat. I woke up with a sore neck next morning.

Room was comfortable. We chose one with a tatami area so it was not too small. The nightly ramen is always a welcome snack, especially in winter.

It was costly for Dormy Inn (even if it’s Premium) and we didn’t realise it was so much cheaper nearer the date. The price difference left a bit of a sour taste but it’s a lesson learnt.

The hotel locates next to the river. The top floor break room has a really nice view and there is free ice cream too. The onsen is great and there is laundry machine to be used free of chagre. The staff was extremely kind and helfpul even when the hotel was really busy. The breakfast buffet was awesome.

The hotel was a bit tricky to reach from the train station if not by driving or taxi especially in snowy weather. The room temperature was a bit hard to control.

Good location about 10 mins walk from the station. Plenty of buses if you don't want to walk. Excellent breakfast as always in a Dormy Inn. This is a premium Dormy Inn, so everything slightly better than a standard one, including room size. Our second stay here. Highly recommended

Quite expensive.

Excellent location next to the promenade (lovely walk at night), and lots of restaurants nearby. Like most Dormy Inn’s, the 930-1130pm free ramen is available, complimentary bottled waters in the room fridge, very clean and nice onsen. Staff were very helpful and spoke English.

So popular that there was often a wait time for the elevator and not enough car parking spaces. Had to park around the corner. Best to do the 24hr parking spot and pay a little less and walk less than the hotel parking who uses the multi-story parking lot.

Rooms are comfortable and the onsen was perfect, as always at a Dormy Inn. It is probably the best place to stay in Kushiro close to the port, the station with plenty of izakaya around.

Nothing really. It is a pity that Dormy Inn is not offering anymore a small glass of beer. It was nice.

It’s convenient location. Rooms were a decent size (considering rooms are usually small in Japan). Close to dining area- wharf and Washu Market

Public bath area is usually crowded, hence decided to give it a miss despite having to pay for onsen facility

Breakfast is delicious . room is small but comfortable . parking at hotel is quite sufficient, but if it full they provide you a parking building nearby . Kushiro cool and Numasai bridge is across the road .
