I have been visiting here for years during the early months. The staff is always nice, generally very clean, and the heated pool was amazing. The only reason I am giving it 8 instead of 10 is a few things: When we went to plug anything into the wall in our room it sparked and the plugs almost shocked us. We weren’t able to plug anything into those and had to use the side table plugs. Also, I wish they would bring breakfast back. Definitely needs an electrician to take a look at the plugs though. Other than that, they’re top choice to stay in my opinion.

Overall, no issues. The room was quiet, very clean and the beds/pillows were comfortable. Room was recently renovated which was very nice! The check in staff was great. Checked out with no problems or issues.

There was no elevator-for one night was NOT an issue but if I had to bring up any more luggage then I would have been annoyed. The hotel used to offer breakfast but due to COVID, they have stopped this feature. I think that is a crock because MOST other hotels have resumed this service. I think the hotel just wants to keep more money and not offer this amenity any longer. I did know this when booking but there were not too many other options in the area due to a last minute booking. If I was to return to the area, I would find an accommodation that offered it.

Great location with easy onsite parking. Wonderful staff and great, spacious room & bathroom. Within walking distance of restaurants (including breakfast places).

The hotel informs guests about this, and it didn't really matter to us, but it is important to keep in mind, that this hotel does not have an elevator which means that you will need to walk up stairs to get to rooms located on the 2nd floor (you also have to carry your luggage up those stairs).

we went in December, so we did not mind the lack of party atmosphere or crowds. it was a wonderful slow pace and everyone was so friendly. The hotel is close to beach, not on the beach but again didn't mind. The staff is friendly and rooms are clean. They gave enough towels for our stay at check in, that was a wonderful change, I hate begging for towels at front desk.

it may sound silly but the ac didn't stay on and I could not figure out how to put it on fan mode. The sink faucet or the aerator needs to be looked at. couple of times when washing hands or brushing teeth my shirt would be sprayed. not enough to soak or ruin my mood. *2 Things* there was little cosmetic damage to the furniture in some places and there is no breakfast or meals served here. Others have listed the lack of food as a complaint online (i didnt mind). There are several non-fast food places within walking distance.

Staff very friendly and kind. Room size is generous, new linens always available. Proximity to downtown tybee and beach is great... Don't hear street and parking lot noise from backside of property.

No Breakfast though website states it does...haven't had breakfast since covid so why haven't they updated website??? Walls are very thin...hear folks nextdoor and above you very easily. Hallways are echo funnels of noise for talking, walking, ice machine. Room on backside of property does not hear street/ parking lot traffic.

it was close to the beach - walking distance so nice and handy for the kids. We were only there 18 hours or so. My kids loved the beach. Didn't do too much in the evenings since it poured so hard so went to Savannah to eat dinner. I got up early the next morning to walk along the beach one last time before getting into car for 16 hour drive home. It was pricey but can't complain since you would have to pay for parking. I recommend if staying 24 hours or less

the day/night went too fast.... But other than that it was great over all

Fantastic location. Close proximity to the beach (across the street) and within a block of all of the island's amenities including restaurants, shopping and the pier. The hotel clearly made an attempt to update recently and the rooms were clean and well maintained. Microwave and small refrigerator in the room were spacious and helpful.

Unavoidable, with it's proximity to the beach, but there was sand everywhere in the halls. The updates to the facility were on the cheaper side and there was not onsite dining option available. The in room coffee maker was cheap, requiring specific coffee packets (not standard pods) which were not provided. No vending machines on the property.

The staff was excellent. There was a little mixup with my 10 room reservation. That was no fault to the hotel and the lady at the desk was exceptional at being patient, and attempting to find the best solution until it was resolved. my group of 50 runners stayed at the hotel for the Tybee Island run fest, this hotel is right between the start and finish line and couldn’t have been any better location

Cosmetic things were a little off being that it’s an older hotel, such as rest on the front of the refrigerator door, and what looked like speckled mold on the ceiling that was painted over

I am not certain that there is a more perfect spot in Tybee if you want to be at a location where you can walk one minute to breakfast, lunch, ice cream, great sea food, fun activities, and ultimately the beach. We arrived on Tybee thinking that we would drive out each day for activities in the heat of the afternoon (we're morning and night beach people), but honestly, it was perfect. We were desperately in need of a relaxing vacation with lazy walks in the morning and night, and this was perfect. I'm already planning on how to get back again.

The overhead shower had low pressure, but the handheld attachment (that still hung on the wall if we wanted it to) was perfect. Honestly, it didn't detract at all.

This was our first trip to Tybee, and we were more than satisfied. The hotel room was actually beyond what we were expecting. The room was clean with enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The bathroom was updated and spacious, and wood floors in the room were a plus. The ladies at the front desk, along with the housekeepers, were amazing. They set up our kids' Easter baskets in the room while we were out. They did not have to do this, and the fact that they did says a lot . Another plus was the location of the hotel. Being situated within walking distance to everything is a major plus. We will definitely be back!

The light in the bathroom around the mirror was really dim and made it difficult to put on makeup.
