Location is up on the lake but with the ferry system you can get anywhere for a day trip even visiting multiple cities in a day. Staff and food at the restaurant was exceptional. You are a little trapped btw after 7pm since the ferries stop and bus service is sparse past then but you are left with essentially 3 restaurants. The hotel restaurant is so good though I just tried everything there.

Be nice if there was a full size shower in my room. Be nice if my room could see more outside but I knew it was a room with a few compromises. Also be nice if there was power at the desk but I just strung a cable across the room. Overall great stay.

This was one of the most beautiful hotels and locations I’ve stayed in. The town of Lenno was quiet and charming, the location next to the ferry was perfect, and the hotel was very close to Villa Del Balbianello where we had our wedding. The hotel had amazing and friendly customer service. I had been in contact with them for over a year prior to our wedding and they were so kind and helpful. Our room was stunning, with beautiful views of the lake. The photos I have of getting ready in the hotel are beautiful and it was the perfect place to have our wedding dinner. I am so happy I chose Hotel Lenno and it will have a special place in my heart for the rest of my life. I hope to come back and relive my amazing stay many more times!

Everything from start to finish, the staff, especially one of the family owners Giacomo who went way above and beyond to take care of my hire car tyre puncture on our 1st day there, while we continued our holiday. This is clearly a very, very well maintained hotel with high standards. Big room, big bed, big ensuite, pool, balcony with lakeside view. 24 hr staff available, bar, private car park available. The setting is stunning, the staff so friendly and helpful, the restaurant was a wonderful experience as we sat outside beside the lake. There is a ferry stop right beside the hotel and a bus stop at the top of the hill with regular buses up and down the lake, to Como as well, which we used once. You can pay by card or cash on the bus. There are 5 or 6 bars and restaurants along the lakeside in Lenno all within a short walk from the hotel, we tried 2 of them, both excellent. Ferry to Bellagio, a must visit, and Varenna, also a must see...make sure you walk along the lakeside pathway in Varrena to all the shops, cafes etc. and sample the ice cream. Bellagio is bigger with lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Will definitely return. And for Giacomo, thank you and... Forza Viola!

Everything was amazing.

This hotel feels like something out of a fairy tale. Absolutely stunning, it's full of character with photos of the owner's grandfather and his family, who opened the hotel in 1903. Recently renovated, the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and modern. The hotel offers a great selection for breakfast and has a bar and restaurant. The staff are always friendly and courteous. The lake is right at the hotel's doorstep, with a beautiful walkway along the shore. The dock, where you can catch a ferry to other towns, is just 20 yards from the entrance. Located in Lenno, a picturesque and relaxed town, the hotel is near Villa del Balbianello, which offers stunning views of the lake and lush, rolling mountains. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday special. We will definitely come again.

Modernising the interior of the elevator would create a great first impression when checking in and heading to your room.

Amazing location!! Clean rooms and very good breakfast- the freshly squeezed orange juice was my favourite!

Wifi was unreliable to complete my work on.

We stayed here one night with our dogs. The hotel is located on the beautiful promenade of lake como and near several restaurants and bars. It is a very beautiful place that catches the vibe of the area. The staff was very friendly and even spoke german with us! Coming here by car and parking was very easy, the dogs were greeted in a friendly way, and we enjoyed the quiet, but lively place very much. In just 2 minutes walk, one can go swimming in the lake, enjoy the sunrise over the mountains, or have a light lunch with lakeview. <3

The windows in the roof allow no view over the beautiful area, unfortunately. Also the breakfast room is in tha back, where one can see nothing of the lake or mountains. That was a pity!

The staff, the food and the room we got were wonderful. All the areas were clean, with easy access. The bathroom was outstanding and having the loft we could open the Velux windows to enjoy the air. We had dinner and breakfast during our stay, both of which were beyond perfect. I want to congratulate all the staff for being so friendly and making our stay feel special. We will definitely return one day.

Not much really, I can hardly find any flaws. If I had to be a little picky, the bed felt a bit too firm, but that is personal preference. The quality of everything was excellent.

We stayed late March for 4 nights. It's a great hotel & much more modern in reality than shown in the photos. Breakfast is continental and the same each day. The ferry terminal is directly outside, and the bus stops just up the road, which is great as these are the two main transport methods if you do not have a car. The views from the lake view rooms are magnificent! We had dinner one evening at the hotel and the meal was delicious. There are a few restaurants within walking distance which we also enjoyed eating at. The staff are all wonderful and very helpful.

It's a quiet area at the time we visited, which we enjoyed, although there was not much to do directly around the hotel and for us 4 nights was enough although this may be diffrent in the summer months. Public transport did not run very late, which meant after a certain time you were stuck in the area, unless you get a taxi which is very expensive.

Location is really fantastic, right at the boat pier with the restaurant terrace by the lake. Lenno is well-connected to Tremezzo and Bellagio, while less crowded and more quiet than Bellagio or Varenna. We had an excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant Giglio and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a choice of fresh fruits and nearly everything. Comments focussing on the 'scorched' scrambled eggs seem rather biased.

No complaint at all. We weren't able to visit the nearby Villa del Balbianello (tickets sold out and, therefore, no guarantee to get admission).

Hotel is in perfect location near the lake next to ferry stop. Room was very clean and tidy. There was electric towel heater so we could dry clothes. Breakfast was "english" breakfast style + some desserts. The coffee was served individually by the waiter and was very good taste. The restaurant of the hotel was also very good. Meals were tasty and fresh. Room was good soundproof. In general guests at the hotel are really well behaved so you could calmly enjoy your stay.

The furniture in the room was a bit worn but that was not a problem.
