Room was fine. Could have used a coffee pot & coffee, but I understand why motels don't. Nice that some finger food & coffee was available during most hours. Owner & employees are super nice! Room was pretty quiet considering the proximity to a main street.

The breakfast was extremely minimal, and frankly, the coffee was so bad, both myself & my partner poured it down the drain. Could use another chair or two around the pool.

The staff here is tremendous. We had a slight issue when we checked into the room, and they fixed it immediately by moving us to another room. The hotel itself has been nicely updated on the exterior, including some unexpectedly modern colors. The room itself was fine, although the Direct TV had been disconnected. Once I found the end of the cable, it was easy to fix. Shower was good, bed was comfortable, breakfast was the expected cereal/packaged pastries/apples/bananas and do-it-yourself, Texas-shaped waffles. Pool was a bit cool, but it is early in the summer.

A big, quiet room with a wonderful big bed and flat.screen TV. A streaming service offered excellent movies in addition to the normal channels. And the staff was extremely helpful. I had a problem with a warning message in my rental car - and a member of staff gave VERY useful hints about how to get the problem solved. And it was then fully solved.

Great welcome from the owners who were friendly and couldn’t do more for their guests. The location is fine although a bit of a walk downtown. However, parking was not a problem downtown.

It would have been nice to have coffee facilities in the room but it is just a short walk to the lobby to get some. Body lotion would have been a welcome addition to the toiletries provided.

clean and cool. Owner/manager turned on the AC before we arrived so it was cool. That was a nice touch!

If there was a little fenced area for dogs that would be really nice. We walked across the street to some grass but that is a little scary to walk in a town you don't know in your pajamas across the street to let your dog pee. so a little area for them would be nice.

The stuffs were very friendly. The room was clean and they clean every day. ( Most of hotels won't clean each day anymore.) The building is old, but they clean really good.

Room clean and comfortable. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Decent breakfast. Parking on site. Friendly dog and a parrot in reception area (kids liked that). Secure clean pool on site. Reasonably priced.

Could use a tea / coffee maker in room. AC a bit noisy but effective.

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The electronic lock on one of our rooms had a problem, but the woman from the desk came up immediately to replace the battery. Room amenities were above average for a motel in this price range.

The bathroom fan was very noisy.

We were exasperated and tired and when we saw an old hotel, we wondered what we had gotten into. We had gotten into a friendly smile from the gentleman at the desk, a quick check in, and a clean room and comfortable bed. Whispering Palms was the perfect end to a really rotten day and I look forward to staying there again.

Whispering Palms was a nice, clean, affordable stay. The outside has fresh paint. The rooms are a nice size and clean. The show is a walk-in. The linens were clean, not the softest, but adequate. The family running the place were all very kind and provided great service.

This is a budget motel, and there’s really nothing that I disliked about this motel. The rooms were a little rough around the edges and the quilt was a bit worn.
