The room was beautiful and very clean, with a phenomenal view of the lake from inside the room as well as the balcony. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Everything in the room is high-quality. Breakfast in the restaurant had a lot of choices and everything was delicious. The free, dedicated parking for guests in front of the hotel was a huge bonus. The host/manager was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We really appreciated him! The balcony for room #4 (a corner suite) is huge, private, and lots of activity to see from it plus the lake view.

Other reviewers have said the traffic noise is a problem. Noise from the cars can indeed be loud with the windows open, but you can't be that close to the lake with that great of a view and not be on a street with traffic. Don't let the noise deter you from staying here-- the quality of the hotel and the view are worth it. Just bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. And, with the windows closed, it is very silent.

The lake view is super nice! The room is just beside the street but it is very quiet when sleeping at night closing the windows. The shower in the bathroom is fantastic, the feeling of the water flow is like the flush in a rainforest. Dinner is so delicious and exceeds our expectations. The pub is just opposite the restaurant and so happy to have a glass of cocktail after dinner, especially in the winter. The location is super - the lake is just in front and the mountain is behind...

cleaning can be better---I saw a spider web between the heater and the wall. Toiletries were said to be provided, but the bottle with shampoo/shower gel hanging on the wall in the shower place was empty. A stool was shaking with loose legs in the pub...perhaps those details need to be paid more attention.

Location was great, we arrived on a very busy day for the town and parking was limited but the hotel accommodated our car. We had a lovely room with 2 balconies and a nice view of the lake. Breakfast setup was excellent

No AC in the room meant we needed to sleep with the balcony doors open for air flow and it was noisy as the hotel was on the main road around the lake

I went to Seehotel Luitpold for my birthday. The staff were so kind that they allowed an early check-in and gave us a superb room with an amazing view. The room was spacious and incredibly clean. The breakfast was also delicious with good variety. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Would definitely go again. Thank you!

We stayed in the penthouse suite on the top floor and our room had two balconies. The views were simply breathtaking! The hotel is situated across the street from the Tegernsee. Free parking is also provided right outside the door. A few meters away is the spa, which I highly recommend you visit during your stay. The center of the town is about 7 minutes minutes walk from the hotel, so the overall location is perfect!

There isn't anything we didn't like. We would start here again when in Tegernsee :)

Loved the comfortable, well appointed room with balcony. Bathroom was nice sized with all the needed amenities. Unobstructed view was stunning. Delicious dinner, best fish (saibling) we had on our whole trip of three different countries. Cozy bar. Nice breakfast choices. Excellent location.

There was nothing not to like.

The hotel is beautiful, inside and out. Our room was spotless, and they gave us a larger one because they knew we were bringing a dog and baby. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Food at breakfast and dinner was delicious! We would definitely recommend staying here to any of our friends/family...being a stones throw away from the lake was also a huge bonus.

Our only complaint, was the lack of fan/air conditioning in the room...BUT, that is a minor and perhaps if we had asked, the hotel may have accommodated us.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, very sincere and helpful. The location with the view of the mountains is unique. The nearby Monte Mare is well worth a visit. The Christmas menu was excellent. I have already made a reservation for 2024.

As it is in front of the lake which us very nice there is the main street between the facility and the lake hence a bit noisy in the morning

Great location - the lake is fantastic in every way especially helped by wonderful weather. Lovely room. Excellent breakfast. Great staff.

This proved a pretty expensive 2 night stay for us though we recognised beforehand the premium location and loved it. We enjoyed the pricey evening meal in the restaurant but found the menu a bit limited in attraction.
