I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in Monemvasia, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hospitality was truly exceptional—every staff member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful gestures throughout my stay, it was clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. Additionally, the value for money was outstanding; the quality of the accommodations and the services provided far exceeded my expectations. This hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and excellent service, making it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Monemvasia.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Castro in Monemvasia, and it was a great experience. Despite the hotel’s age, it is impeccably clean and spacious. Our room was very comfortable, featuring a large, cozy bed and a lovely balcony with a view. The location is excellent, with the charming town of Monemvasia just a short drive away. Yanis, the manager, was exceptionally kind and accommodating. He waited for our late arrival and provided us with invaluable information about the city and nearby attractions. Anila, who served durimg the breakfast, was also very friendly and made our morning meal enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel offers convenient parking space, which was a great bonus. We only stayed for one night, but it was a memorable and pleasant experience. I highly recommend Hotel Castro for anyone visiting Monemvasia.

It was a really nice experiencie to be host by Castro hotel. The host was super nice and friendly, he explained us everything about the área, the Castle of Monemvasia, the ancient ways of living there... The hotel is very well located, is quiet and peaceful, and you can park your car at the entrance. The building is renovated and It is very beautiful. Rooms are renovated also, matress are new, they have AC and a balcony from where you can see the sea... Amazing views. Everything is super clean. The breakfast was the best part one I have tasted in Greece, It was delicious!!! Definitely i would come back to the same place if i return to Monemvasia in the future.

The location is excellent, great sea view from the room and from the terrace where we had breakfast. The big guy from reception was really really nice. He gave us lots of informations and suggestions about the city and even helped us to find place to sleep for the next day because everything was full. Because of the waves we could hear sea motion in the night and it was sooo nice. I would certainly come back to this hotel. Thank you for your kindness in great experience. Monemvasia is such a beautiful place .

Tremendous view towards the sea, Monemvasia Island and the countryside. spacious rooms with a gorgeous porch overlooking it all. Friendly staff. Gracious breakfast served at comfy hours. Walking distance to the island of Monemvasia. Very fair price.

No elevator, shower/bathroom was not the cleanest and comfy, room is always hot without AC on

Yannis was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, good quality and fresh. The lady who served it was so smiley and lovely. 10/10 for their customer service. Great location 10 mins walk into town. Comfy bed.

The bathroom was tiny in room 21. Also no plug for the sink and no hook for the shower to attach to the wall.

Overall was a great experience. The room was perfectly clean and the view of the sea magnificent. The breakfast was the typical for the size of the hotel, maybe a toaster it could be a great addition. The stuff was kind a very helpful.

The facilities show their age, and window's screen is a necessity. some water pipeline ran through our room and there was water noise.

Well located, a 20 minute walk to the kastro Beautiful view from the room. Very quiet even if close to the main street Manager was very nice and helpful Good breakfast

We left at 8.15 am and were expecting to get a Quick breakfast but we found nothing and no one

The location was really close to the centre, really awesome helpful owner and delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Really nice view from the balcony.

The parking lot is a bit rough. The air-conditioning from other room was really noisy when running.

We were right across the road from a swimming beach. We had a lovely view of the sea as well as Monemvasia. The host was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well supplied.

The bed was a double, so a bit tight for us, but not a big problem.
