Food at evening meal could be improved.

We were pleasantly surprised with this Hotel. The reception and lounge are beautiful and spacious and the hotel as a whole was very clean. Every single member of staff were polite,professional, very helpful and always had a smile on their face from the reception staff, the bar staff, the housekeepers to the chefs and everyone in-between. There was a lovely buzz in the hotel and I believe this is mainly as a result of the happy atmosphere created by the people working there! Our room wasn't big but it was perfectly adequate and we loved the quirky decor. The shower was amazing,the mattress neither too hard or too soft and we had the choice of heating,air conditioning and a ceiling fan. We also had the benefit of a balcony where we were able to soak up the last rays of the days sheltered from the wind. We didn't dine at the hotel in the evening so I can't comment on that but we did have breakfast on the last day and enjoyed a vast array of choice. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. Having a serious gluten allergy I was a little apprehensive but I needn't have been. I was introduced to the head chef who gave me a dish by dish tour of the whole dining room explaining what I could eat,he was completely understanding of my situation and very helpful and kind. We will definitely be returning to this hotel and will most certainly partake of the breakfast more than once next time. As for the location of the hotel,there are restaurants, cafés and supermarkets all within a five minute walk. But even if you can't manage the 20 minute walk to the centre there was always a taxi or two outside the hotel. The drivers were all very friendly and we generally paid no more than 5 or 6 euro for a fare. The hotel did offer to call us a taxi on a couple of occasions but there was never a need as there was always one available outside.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like. If I was to nitpick, the house wine wasn't great but that pales into insignificance compared with what you can get to drink and the amazing happy hour every evening that lasts two hours!

The mattress is not comfortable. Most of the chairs are low and therefore not suitable for the handicaped The receptionist on July 24 in the evening was unkind and gave me a room less than my reservation and very far from the elevator without taking into account my health conditions. But the next day everything was fixed by professional staff who appreciated their work

Solo traveller but family booked a package in the same hotel (it worked out better for me to book direct with booking.com) I stayed at this hotel last year too and was impressed by the veggie food. i was given a better view this year than last, this year I was in room 609. The staff are lovely and friendly, I arrived a lot earlier than the check in time and they were full of useful info. rooms and common areas were spotless and the location is brilliant too. The singer in the bar is a bit tone deaf but she was still entertaining and people got up to dance with her mix of oldies and pop. There was also a flamenco show one night which was fab. Showers are great, modern and powerful plus TV has good selection of channels. Got a good nights sleep every night and no noise. Location is great for tapas bars too, stay away from the main road and turn left when you come out, I recommend La Abuela and a little further along Torreblanca

Last year's food was better for vegetarians but I think the meat options looked better. The food wasn't bad by any means but there were more dishes last year- I love gazpacho for example and I didn't see any this time, i also remember a delicious cous cous and spring rolls plus I think I remember last year had theme nights too like Arabic, Asian etc. Veggies were still well catered for though but to be honest I didn't eat 19 euro worth which is what I think I paid for the evening meal. The pool area beds are uncomfy too so paid for beach ones instead. I checked out the new wing of the hotel out of curiosity and the balcony views were better than the skybar. Also despite the normal rooms being refurbished, the toilet is still the old one from the 1980s, nice shower though

The staff, the location, the cleanliness, the hotel lobby and pool.

The rooms could have been better. We stayed in rooms 103 and 104. The exposed wardrobe was not good and there were not enough clothes hangers. The fridges barely worked. The showers were not working properly. There were no instructions on how to work the air conditioning or the ceiling fan, which was a problem for us. I got severely bitten by midges the last two nights in my room but there was no mosquito screen on the door and there was no mosquito repellant in the room like a plug-in Citronella diffuser. Overall the room quality is not four star and could be improved a lot.

We loved the size of the junior suites and the bed was very comfortable

This is an attractive hotel in a great location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping was quick and efficient. Lots of TV channels. good hot shower, comfy bed with duvets.

I was somewhat disappointed with the restaurant. I had stayed at hotels in this group before and the good food was one of the reasons I came back. However, though there was a good choice and the ingredients and cooking of them was fine, I never had a hot meal. The plates were cold, and the food was cold. The only thing I had that was hot the entire weekend was an omelette cooked for me at breakfast, Everything laid out on trays was cold. They need more heat lamps and plate warmers, 90 per cent of the guests ae British and British people like their hot food to be hot.

The hotel staff were very friendly, there is a lovely rooftop bar with fantastic views. The infinity pool area was very clean again with lovely views. We were room only so didn't eat at the hotel, but we did have a suite which was incredible. The hotel had entertainment which we either missed the start or the end of the show, but everyone seemed to have had a good time.

Its very difficult to find fault with the hotel, we did think the bar shut early on the Friday night at 11pm, however we totally understood that once the entertainment finished, nearly all the hotels guests go to bed so not really worth keeping it open :)
