Kathy is such a wonderful soul and awesome host. She was there to assist with any queries I had, and ready with the generator when the power went down due to loadshedding. She also gave me a lot of info on the town and recent history. I loved the spacious room and the very comfy bed. The shower was lovely, with great pressure - a lovely hot shower was perfect after a day of exercise. The pool was wonderful to take a dip in every day I was there. I cooked for myself in the shared kitchen, and it had everything I needed. It was also a bonus to have a gas stove (what with all the loadshedding), to be able to cook and make tea. Safe parking and the accomodation is on a quiet street. I also did the Parkrun, which is a MUST if you are there on a Saturday morning. The location is so beautiful and scenic.

When in Zastron, 36 on Boom is an excellent place to stop. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and - most important - Kathy is a great host: very friendly, welcoming and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast was very good and overall the B&B is very good value. This was our second visit and we will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Most amazing host that made us feel right at warm. AC, electric blankets and a superb breakfast. Absolutely loved our stay, would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again. Beyond expectations and value for money. Great location and close to the parkrun.

The facilities were exceptional value for your money. We were greeted by Kathy on arrival and made to feel so welcome. The facilities were comfortable and very clean. I highly recommend this property to all traveller's that are looking for a place to rest and relax.

On Boom is a lovely house. Well furnished, it has, a large garden and also a swimming pool. Cathy took time for us, we had nice talks. She was so friendly and helpfull! I recommend this place to everyone, on the way from East to West.

Kathy was THE best host, fabulous breakfast and home made preserves. Lovely, relaxing and peaceful place after a long day on the road. I'm sure in summer it will be even better to jump into that lovely pool, was a bit cold for May.

Quiet location, at the edge of town. Zastron is a small town however we received a very warm welcome. The host took us for a morning nature walk and was very informative about the locality. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. Also had a visit to Nell's Bar/Restaurant where again we were warmly welcomed. Good food and friendly relaxed atmosphere.

The location was perfect.Cathy was a wonderful host and we will stay again if in the area.Fantastic view and Cathy offered us guided walks.The cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in. We hadn't booked breakfast but Cathy provided exactly what we needed.

Nothing could have been better

We were very happy about staying here for one night! Very friendly and welcoming host :-) The room was nice and clean and we got a little welcoming gift - choclate and cherry, which was just what we needed after a long day on the road.

There is not much to see or do in the city, but for one night it was perfect!

We arrived early and were made to feel so welcome. This was greatly appreciated. In fact in every way our stay was simply delightful. The self-catering facilities were use of a very well equipped, clean and accessible kitchen. Kathy even provided help with my hay fever!
