A hidden gem. I’m a simple traveler. A cozy bed, heat/AC that works, clean, quiet, reasonable price, friendly staff, breakfast. This property has been upgraded and has very nice furnishings. When the highway construction is finished, it will be even more convenient.

Breakfast was pretty much not. Cereal (2 types), bread for toast, waffle maker, apples, coffee machine, juice machine. All clean and sanitary but just not inviting. I would suggest some instant oatmeal or grits, bananas (a favorite among seniors), individually packaged muffins or pastries, yogurt, etc.

The hotel was close to the location where I was working and all of the staff did an excellent job during my stay, this includes desk clerks (daily and weekend) and housekeeping. The owners were on site and tried very hard to keep everything looking nice and clean, inside and out.

The only thing I didn't like was the lack of items on the breakfast bar. I was there during the off season and the guest ratio was down so I understand why there wasn't a large amount of food. Otherwise my stay was great!

Everything was very nice! The front desk attendant was friendly even though we checked in at nearly midnight!! The room was clean and the place was peaceful. The morning attendant was friendly as well and breakfast was great! My family chose the waffles, and I had an apple and some oatmeal. There were also two kinds of cereal offered, as well as toast. The coffee was even fresh!! We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Desk clerk friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows comfortable. No problems with wi-fi. Room reasonably quiet, despite proximity of a rather busy highway.

Very busy road, at least at the time of my arrival, which made it a little difficult to get into and out of the place. Not much in the way of eating options within walking distance—fast food and Cracker Barrel.

This was a quick (too tired to keep driving) stop. Made the reservation at 11:00 pm, pulled in at mid-night, then gone by 6:00 am. I did want to write a review because my main fear in a hotel is bugs and I always look over every inch of the room before I unpack - there were no bugs! The room was clean, there were no weird smells, the bed was comfy enough for a hotel bed and the gentleman working was very nice, even at midnight. He had a smile and made sure to tell me that coffee would be ready at 6:00 am. The only reason I have rated an 8 is because all I wasn't there long enough to properly inspect the rest of the items.

The sheets were old and a couple of spots had shredded - Not that big of deal to me but they appeared old.

Missing the distantly located hotel entrance sign and finding myself in the right-turn-only lane to get on I-10 with no driveway to the hotel. I had to drive about 30-40 miles before I could exit the Interstate and turn around and drive back. I blame not the hotel, really, but my Maps 'person' telling me to make a U-turn I could not make because of intervening car traffic and had to take the next u-turn opportunity and, drove right by the small sign, and ended up on I-10 heading East. :-) Just another adventure.

Everything was clean, location was great for us. Construction on the highway but no fault of the hotel. Wendy was super! She was the friendliest hotel employee that we have ever encountered! Simply amazing and she has the greatest personality.

The ice machine could use some work. It would barely fill my 20oz cup, before completely stopping.

We stayed in late May 2024. Facilities could use some updating due to air conditioner dripping outdoors. However, they offered great customer service, a nice pool and hot breakfast. Beds were clean and comfy beds, and great value for the rooms on a weekday stay. Great location about 40 miles north of Destin, Florida. I hope to return in a few months.

The hotel was very clean and staff was great. The pet we travelled with was treated with kindness. The place was very full, yet we had an excellent night - it was very quiet.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was horrible. The truck with the food supplies did not show up, we came in late and what was left was inedible. The coffee was good.

I spoke with Jenny who works the front desk. She assisted me in fixing my reservation dates. Jenny called me the next morning to confirm some changes. I couldn't have asked for her to be anymore professional, helpful, and kind. It was very refreshing to have someone be so helpful and to follow through.
