The hotel was clean, conveniently located, and the staff were incredibly helpful. It was a pleasant and hassle-free experience, and I would definitely stay here again. As my stay was for 2 nights, the hotel offers a citypass allowing free travel on local public transport which was very useful (you'll need to sign up to their rewards scheme for free however)

Pillows were very soft - had to double up. Mattress wasn't the most comfortable, however I have definitely experienced much worse

The staff were very kind and the hotel was very clean. It's right next to the railway station Hamburg Altona but it's so we'll insulated that you can't hear the trains. You get off the train and walk on the platform. A few meters away is the S-Bahn. Very convenient! My friend liked it so much that she's booking it again in September.

We didn't try the breakfast because it was a bit pricey and there are cheaper alternatives at the railway station.

The location can't be beat for convenience to rail or transit, and we were very impressed by the effectiveness of the sound proofing compared to opening the window, in our room overlooking busy railroad tracks not far below. The room was simple, but clean and modern. Having a fridge and the use of an elevator were big plusses too. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I'm allergic to feather pillows, which isn't the hotel's fault, but i often find places that have them have others available in room too. I slept on a rolled up shirt. Not a major criticism, though.

Breakfast was good and generous. Kids were not billed for breakfast. Location is perfect for public transport and just a few stops by S-bahn to the harbour and town center. The area close to the hotel offers many food and shopping options.

It would have been nice to have a water kettle in the room, especially when it is cold. The staff were very friendly and gave us hot water in our travel mugs whenever we asked.

Location is just brilliant when you're travelling by ICE: Just go to Altona instead of Hbf and you're there already. The Elbe and several areas with great bars / restaurants are nearby and even Schanzenviertel and St. Pauli are within walking distance (at least if you're European ;).

This might not be your hotel if you are on a longer vacation as the service and equipment is rather basic - but for 2 nights to see the city it's totally sufficient and wonderfully located.

The hotel is perfectly situated in Altona, a center area in Hamburg, with many facilities around it and perfect access to all city transportation. Rooms are clean and modern styled and relatively comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The room was a bit small. You can easily hear the train station actions as the hotel is above it directly but when closing the window it’s ok.

We were there a little early, before the check in time and asked if we could leave our luggage someplace to be stored and the lovely lady in the reception gave us our room already so we could take our luggage straight there. Also the room was modern and clean and there was a complimentary water bottle. Location was exellent next to Altona station where we took a train early next morning.

If i could ask a one thing more, an electric kettle (tea maker) would have been nice in a room.

Clean spacious rooms. Helpful friendly staff. Hotel is right next to Altona station, a little noise could be heard from station but nothing excessive.

Rate did not include breakfast, which i thought was rather expensive at 19 euros. There's plenty of options to grab some food at the adjacent station to save a bit of money.

Pleasant hotel, actually quiet despite being in the train station, runs very smoothly, very good and practical location, I'd come again next time in Hamburg.

So much more expensive on weekend! Small business bonus offer ended mysteriously on Thursday, maybe it was limited to 3 days? In any case not critical, just surprising.
