This is a beautiful and beautifully kept hotel. The staff is great. The breakfast is bountiful. The pool is just stunning as well. However. Be aware. Their shuttle service is not optimal. You need to be ready to walk to town or the beach (or drive … and try to find parking 😊). Or pay 5€ per person per way. Which I find very expensive for a 5 minute drive. It’s a short 12 minute walk. But….the road has no proper walkway. So be safe. That’s all. I have to be honest though. The WiFi kind of sucks. It comes and goes like the waves of the ocean. Like most European hotels. The air conditioning has challenges 😂. But I’m Canadian. So I like to sleep cold. My daughter loved the temperature in the room. All in all. A great place. Tropea a must visit. The variety of beaches unreal. A five minute walk and you go from a sandy beach to a rock beach.

Our stay at Michelizia Resort was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, the staff did everything to make our experience memorable. A special shoutout to Ms. Dominique, who was super helpful and made sure we got the perfect room with a stunning view. She was so warm and welcoming. We also want to thank the elegant Mr. Director, who not only made sure everything was perfect but even helped us with our bags when it was time to leave. It's rare to find such genuine and attentive service these days, and it truly made our stay special. Thank you for a wonderful experience. K* :-*

Our experience at this exquisite location was truly delightful. The staff, particularly Davide and Francesco, exceeded our expectations in making our vacation memorable. The resort itself is stunning, equipped with all the amenities we required, and the dining options were exceptional. The pool area was beautifully designed, providing a perfect setting to relax after a long day at the picturesque Tropea beach. Although the beach is within walking distance, the shuttle service offered by the resort was convenient, with friendly and knowledgeable drivers. We are certain that we will return to this remarkable destination.

The reception was always willing to help with whatever was needed. The breakfast was good, as well as the dinner Buffett with a variety of things. The pool is great too, there is always space and is never too crowded. The shuttle service is good, a pity you have to pay extra each time.

The WiFi never worked and so we had to use our mobile data the entire 10 days. Cleaning ladies come whenever they feel like and with the variation of times sometimes we were in the room at the time and they wouldn’t come back to clean that day. At the bar, be careful what you order as one or the other bar keeper doesn’t know how to make proper drinks. Some of the male personell will give you some stares which is not amazing. Our bed head broke and fell on me and my partner in the middle of the night which is unfortunate but the team was more than willing to fix it immediately and offer us a different room.

On a 3 week tour of southern Italy, this is by far the best hotel we've stayed in. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Tropea. The very comfortable room and facilities were exceptional with a larger than most bathroom. We had a sea view from the balcony and enjoyed the very good cooked breakfast and there was also the added bonus of free parking. There's also a restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious dinner with great entertainment from an excellent musician singing anything from Bee Gees to Pink Flloyd. He was amazing. However, what really makes this place exceptional are the wonderful staff who work there, nothing was too much trouble and we were always welcomed so warmly. Just wish we'd had a longer stay.

The room was particularly small! There was literally a bed upon entering the front door and a bathroom at the back which was large enough, but no room to move around the bed with luggage. Although we selected a standard or classic room, I must admit this is the first time we could not fit our luggage comfortably in the same space as our bed with 2 people in the room. Although this seemed to be the norm in this resort, and maybe other ones in Tropea, we heard several other guests complaining about this too.

The staff were absolutely brilliant and so helpful. Friendly and eager to please. The room was spotless, remade every day, and spacious, even with 4 staying. Every room has an outdoor area. Breakfast had a good selection, including fresh omelette made to order, and was all tasty and plentiful. The hotel in general was spotless. Shuttle service to beach and town was extremely helpful, as the hotel is a 10 minute walk out of town. Views were absolutely beautiful from pool area.

The room is a bit of an uphill walk away from town, so if you have mobility issues, this may pose a problem. It was an unpleasant walk in the midday heat, but not an issue at night time.

Our group of 13 recently had the pleasure of staying at Sentido Michelizia Tropea Resort where the warmth and hospitality of the staff were simply unparalleled. The team, led under the exceptional leadership of Director Piero, and with the dedicated support of waitstaff David, and Antonio, as well as the front desk staff team, our stay was elevated to an extraordinary experience. Their attentiveness and personable nature shone through in every interaction, making us feel more like honored guests than customers. Every aspect of our stay was injected with a sense of welcome that made our experience truly memorable. This hotel also offers a tranquil escape with its stunning two-tiered pool that invites relaxation and refreshment. We enjoyed basking in the serene atmosphere and picturesque views. Hats off to the entire staff for their exceptional service!

Hotel was clean. great space, fantastic pool facility. had shuttles that take you too and from the beach. Was looking to reserve a place I read about on line for dinner and thankfully the women that was at the desk 1 spoke english 2 let us know this restaurant was a set 5 course meal that the kids would not have been keen on and recommended a place she called to reserve for us and was FANTASTIC!! kids loved there first night

arrived around 2 so a little late for lunch but there was only ice cream and potatoe chips at the bar would have been nice to have a sandwich or even a plate of fruit and some nuts avaiable.

The pool area is great, breakfast is also good value but most of all the staff were amazing. Especially Mariella on the front desk, Davide the waiter in bar and dinning room and Graziano one the drivers. They made our stay so special. All kind, gentle and could not do enough for you. I felt like family. Also beds were comfortable too. Some guests aircon was faulty and it was extremely hot however luckily ours worked great.

Maybe pool closed a little early and would have been fabulous if they had music start playing earlier and for longer.
