No vigilant cameras on car parking. We had an strange situation, we were being followed buy stranger from to the facilities and they were restricted the entrance. However I suspect the security did expose our details to the stranger. Please check out to enforce the security and confidentiality.

On entering the property, we were greeted by the most beautiful, neatly manicured gardens as well as peacocks and peahens and their chicks. Dinner at Summerfields restaurant is a must. A huge variety available A La Carte. The waiters were very friendly and welcoming. In the morning, a Full English Breakfast is included in the rate. Fresh fruit salad with a choice of 3 different yoghurts, as well as cereals, croissants, muffins, scones, cheese and a cold meat selection. There was also a choice of 3 hot breakfasts. All our meals were delicious. My husband and I have travelled extensively in South Africa as well as overseas and agreed that Summerfields Botanical Garden Resort ranks at the top of our list. We were blown away and will definitely be going back.

The location is good, easy to find following the GPS map location, in terms of breakfast my guess is that they should where possible remind themselves that they should try to bring local food on it. English breakfast is mostly what exists everywhere and so, would be if they bring local breakfast as option B ou C, why not is my question.

I am really disappointed with the Internet when I am in a 5* (five star) hotel, you walk around and you only have internet on the reception, breakfast and restaurant, pool areas, looking like that they were looking for people to be only on those areas, of course we came for relaxing, but we do have our moments when we need to work and we need internet, I reported thrice but no-one resolved and kept saying that it was joint connection and the problem was on the other room, but I paid for my room and should not deprived of my own right.

It was wonderful at the Resort. The people were so friendly and helpful. I liked it that there is a little fitness room were we could train a bit. The garden was marvellous and our guy at the breakfast was funny and helpful planning the day. I would recommend to stay there at least two days as there is a lot to see like the cultural village. Great singers there. If you're into sports, you can go to the sanctuary area we're you can have long runs or hikes. Everything felt very safe! A moskitonet at the little window in our bathroom and some places to store your little things in the bathroom would complete the fabulous stay.

I loved everything about this place. The staff was incredibly professional and considerate. They were always willing to help. This place has the perfect balance of privacy and interaction with staff. My family and I will definitely be going back soon. We had so much fun. And we had incredible rest too. It is exactly what we needed and so much more. The food was even more incredible. Look, I have absolutely no complaints. I loved this place.

Overall the gardens and pool are beautiful and the footpaths and rooms look similar to Sun City's designs. The rooms were spacious and clean. The furniture is not modern but new. The pea pods are very contemporary.

I booked 2 rooms but the reception didn't allocate the rooms next to each other, we were on opposite ends. Also, there are no luggage trolleys, so luggage must be rolled across a vast establishment.

Spectacular location and rooms. Each room is like a mini house with its own private patio. The room is HUGE! Staff everywhere tending to the beautiful botanical garden. Restaurant serves amazing food and we were setved twice by a waiter nicknamed Mr Sweety who was perfect! Breakfast was plentiful and we were treatef like royalty. We wish we could have stayed longer!!! Best place we ever stayed.

Nothing at all!

The hotel grounds are simply beautiful. Very serene and peaceful. The staff and the owner are salt of the earth kind of people, very friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts that were included in the stay price were very good.

The wi-fi availability throughout resort is not the best. Works fine in and around reception and dining areas. Turned out to be a good thing as we spent more time relaxing.

Everything was excellent. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful. Overall all was great.

Poor Internet connectivity which adversely affected my work. TV too was not working on the day of our arrival. The signage too was poor leading to us easily getting lost in that huge establishment.

I loved the location of the hotel and its gardens

That bills could not be added to the room for later settlement but all bills had be paid as and when a service was rendered to us. This can be pricy and tricky for international guests. We ended up making a prepayment arrangement so that money could be deducted from the prepayment.
