Our double room had a lovely balcony with splendid views on the garden, the surroundings and Uzès in the distance. The landlords were attentive and friendly, the evening meals a delicious experience!

We found the decor a little tired and in need of refurbishment and attention to detail.

We liked: the garden, the friendly hostess, the excellent food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, the possibility to bring our 3 small dogs, the closed and secure (during the night) parking lot in front of the hotel, the little forest behind the hotel to have a walk, the pitoresque village of St. Quentin-la-Poterie with the lovely café "Chez César" and the calm location of the hotel.

We didn't like: the price for the softdrinks and coffees, the obligation to pay for the small dogs, the lady with two dogs walking them in the village that didn't have her dogs on the leash and watched them harassing strangers without calling them back.

Super hotel well located for the village and yet very quiet and tranquil. Such helpful staff, great outdoor pool and excellent restaurant. Restaurant closed for one of my 2 nights but they booked me a restaurant within walking distance in the village and it was excellent.

Not sure why you have to pay even a modest amount for the private parking - unusual.

Our room was a suite, a lovely surprise as we don’t think we originally booked this room. It was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the pool. Other rooms also had balconies. We sat out most evenings.

We found the bed a little firm, but that’s just our preference.

Positioning of aircon outlet means you have to run it hard to cool the area with the bed so it is louder than it could be which makes good dkeep harder. Pillows could ve better quality too, too springy. Could do with some design input to improve the identity of the hotel and it's rooms. St Qentin is a very interesting town with a strong identity but the hotel has a very neutral identity. No good visual connection, it could be anywhere. I think the new owners are thinking about this.

Very polite and attentive staff with outstanding English skills. Amazing breakfast and dinner. Calm and relaxing atmosphere and surroundings.

In humid weather the air conditioning condenses water that drips out of the casing in room nr. 4. We didn't get around to mention it as it was such a minor concern of ours.

Very friendly welcome. Lovely location at the top of a picturesque village with bars and restaurants. Great view from our bedroom overlooking the valley.

Had hoped the pool might be open (it was after Easter).

Very comfortable room in the centre of St Quentin with lovely pool, terrace and restaurant with good food. The owner is charming.

Nothing really, though we regretted that the restaurant was closed for the second night of our stay.

Great hotel in super location with easy walk into the charming village. Lovely staff, excellent food and wine and super rooms. The weather was too poor for using the excellent pool. Definitely stay again
