Proximity to beach, restaurants and shopping very good

Hotel restaurant was not open first 2 days of our stay. Was not mentioned online that it would be closed, we may have stayed elsewhere if this had been known. Room design not great. Bathroom door very awkward, very heavy ,would not stay open or closed. This was our 2nd time staying here. Last time umbrellas and chairs were available on site. We had to purchase own umbrella and bring own chairs. Rooms are expensive, these Extra amenities would have been nice. Not sure if we would stay here again.

We have stayed here many times and it is very obvious that they are implanting money into the hotel to modernize and upgrade. The new pool renovations are great and the newer deck and beach access are nice as well.

The only critique that I had was parking, or lack of. Our last night there a tour bus arrived which was allowed for some reason to park sideways in the parking lot and completely covered 8 parking spaces. There was a sky-jack lift on the other end that was left parked there and took up an additional 6 parking spaces. If there is an overflow parking lot, it obviously would have been more sensible to park the tour bus and lift over there to accommodate the guests. There were several guests complaining to the staff at the front desk about this issue… rightfully so in my opinion.

Indoor pool, close location to beach, great restaurant, Beachcombers Tiki Hut. Chef Marina and waitress Raelyn were outstanding as well as our meals, we ate dinner there twice. Chef Marina even came out to our table to talk to us when we told our waitress how good the food was. Breakfast buffet was absolutely worth it. The staff was very polite and super engaging. Front desk staff and the cleaning staff were very accommodating. There was constantly someone mopping the floors and elevators, cleaning up from people being on the beach and in the pool.

We stay at the Ramada every year when we vacation at the Outer Banks. The location can’t be beat, the covered pool is great in the occasion of rainy days, and the overall accessibility and cleanliness of the rooms and facility is great.

The only complaint I have about the rooms are the barn door style bathroom doors. They do not stay shut so we typically keep a towel on the floor and just wedge it between the door and the wall. It’s a minor inconvenience and an easy fix but a hook on the inside of the door would definitely fix this issue.

Loved the hot tub, indoor pool, the breakfast buffet was amazing. Cost around 10 dollars per person but it’s definitely worth it. Oceanfront balcony was really nice too. Saw some dolphins swimming by.

No smoking on the balcony was disappointing. Also the bed was much harder than I prefer. Other than that it was a great hotel for the price.

The location was perfect, in the middle of anything we'd like to do. The indoor pool was fantastic for this time of year. We enjoyed the beach, but the heated pool and hot tub were great! We ate breakfast there one day, and the rest out. Would have likely ate there more, but it was not included in the pricing. The hotel was very clean and the staff were so phenomenal! All the pet friendly rooms were on the first floor, which really is a great idea. We were able to enjoy the restaurant before they closed for the month of January.

I honestly have no complaints. I would recommend this hotel to others.

I liked the location it was beachfront and a short drive to stores and restaurants. I paid the extra to check in early and it was worth it and they put us on the 2nd floor which was same floor as pool and beach access. The pool area provided clean towels and didn't close until 10pm.

The pool area can be very slippery. The water is dragged out into the hotel hallways and had to constantly tell me kids to slow down to not slip. They just need some more rugs to have more coverage.

The room was comfortable overall. The beds and pillows were nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was actually warmer than freezing cold, so it was nice to be able to get in. The location is great to be able to walk right onto the beach, too. It was nice to see it pet friendly. Loved seeing other guests dogs. Very nice indeed.

The only thing is the area around the pool and hot tub need to have some sort of grit materials put down. It is way too slippery, and an accident is waiting to happen.

Right on the beach! You can't get better than that. Free coffee available at standard ours. That's always a plus. The pet friendly rooms are all on the 1st floor. That was a definite plus! The side exits were all set up for room card re-entry. Good security measure. Staff was very friendly and professional. A restaurant/bar was on site also.

The breakfast buffet on Booking.com looked way better than the actual buffet. Only one type of eggs was available - scrambled, finger sized biscuits, the bacon was definitely greasy, and the gravy was runny. The buffet was way smaller than the picture depicted. The cable also lost most of the channels on our second day. It was never corrected, and no one gave us a reason or status update. Toilet seat was loose, and the shower was rather week. Not what you would expect from a respected name like Ramada.

Very nice location. Walking distance to the beach. You can rent a chair and umbrella if you forget yours. Can walk or drive to nearby restaurants. Short drive to the Wright Memorial and the outlets. Thank you to Jared at the front desk for helping us with our issue and making our stay so much better.

The rooms could use a little updating (especially the first floor). Also bathroom fans make such a difference but there wasn’t one in every room.
